JAS Engineering specializes in structural and civil engineering jobs both big and small. We do a complimentary initial site visit with-​in the Portland Metro area to assess the job scope and consult with the client (s) prior to preparing the proposal.

JAS Engineering is a registered ESB — Emerging Small Business — located in Oregon City’s Old Town area along the Willamette River. We proudly serve the greater Portland area as well as Southern Washington — Additionally JAS Eng consults in Alaska, Northern and Central Washington.

About the engineer:

Andy Stember PE, SE, has been an engineer for 32 years, 14 of which were out of Anchorage Alaska.

He is a registered and licensed as a civil and structural engineer in Alaska, Washington & Oregon. Andy has worked for several large engineering companies before opening the doors to his own, Oregon City located, small business.

Andy is the education chair for the Structural Engineers Association of Oregon (SEAO). He is also the Snow Load Committee Chair of the SEAO.
