We recently had water damage and mold growth at our house. I had talked to at least five different mold remediation companies and finally decided to use Paul Davis Emergency Services. Daryl and his team were great and real easy to work with! Daryl was very knowledgeable and responsive — he came out the same day I called, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns with patience, and provided a quote by end of the day as he promised because he understood the urgency. His pricing was also competitive and he was willing to work with our budget because we had to pay everything out of pocket (no insurance coverage). The work was scheduled promptly and completed on time as promised. The Project Manager Esteban did a wonderful job and was also very courteous and helpful. I will definitely recommend their service to anyone (hopefully I won’t have another emergency like this…).

We just completed a big mold and water job with Daryl, the owner of Paul Davis Emergency Services of Costa Mesa, and could not be happier! Daryl came to our home on a Sunday when I could not get most contractors to come out. We had some mold in our kitchen from a leak behind our dishwasher and had called out Serv-​Pro but was totally unimpressed with their lack of professionalism and knowledge. When Daryl came out, he answered all of our questions, explained to us the process for removing the wet areas, drying the areas, and then removing all the mold. He is very knowledgeable but more importantly, he was professional and his pricing was very fair. He was willing to get the work started on short notice and he was on site for the entire process making sure that we were satisfied and up to date with the process. His crew was professional and they left my home in perfect condition, making sure that each night we knew how to reach them if we had any questions or issues.
I could not have been happier with Daryl and how well he took care of our home. It was so nice dealing with someone who follows through to the last detail and who you can trust. I will definitely be referring Daryl and Paul Davis to my friends and family!

We were referred to Paul Davis by my plumber, after we found a leak in our pipes near our living room area. Since the leak had been going on for several months, there was now water damage to our walls and baseboard, as well as mold inside of our drywall. My plumber gave me two companies to call — Paul Davis as well as Serv-​Pro, but Serv-​Pro was going to charge $ 150 just for an estimate, whereas Paul Davis said an estimate would be complimentary so we scheduled one right away. They were able to come out the same day to look at the damage and gave us an estimate later that evening.
Daryl himself came out to look at our house, walked us through the whole process and was very thorough in explaining to us what they were going to do and how they were going to get rid of the mold. He also told us he would guarantee his work by giving us a report to certify what exactly was done and to also ensure us that the mold was completely gone and out of our drywalls. It took exactly a week, from start to finish, to complete the job which included scrubbing the framework inside the drywall to get rid of the mold, drying the walls completely, putting the drywall back, and re-​painting the walls. The whole time that they were working on our house, they put up a plastic wall to quarantine the mold and affected area, so that we could continue living in our house, and it also helped with the noise level so that we felt comfortable staying in our house while the work was being done! They also cleaned up after themselves so when the job was completed, everything was just how it used to be, before the water damage of course!
I highly recommend Paul Davis to anyone who needs an emergency service. Their work was quick and thorough, and the price was a lot less expensive than my plumber told me he thought it would be. Paul Davis truly made what I thought would be a nightmare into something that was a very pleasant experience from start to finish.
