Morgan Tile & Stoneworks

We received a referral from a neighbor to contact Danny at Morgan Tile & Stoneworks, and she described him as upbeat and highly professional. We have had a great experience working with them to complete our master shower and flooring in two bathrooms. Danny was so proactive and completely on top of everything. He really goes above and beyond. He provided great recommendations, and moved everything forward quickly for us. They actually completed everything ahead of schedule. We are so pleased with how everything turned out, and would definitely recommend them to others looking for house renovations.

I rarely write reviews, but wanted to add our wonderful experience with Joe from start to finish.
The first interaction we had with Joe was about a year ago, but then for various reasons our kitchen remodel fell behind schedule. And I called Joe again .Each time, Joe was very understanding and flexible. He took many photos and all sorts of detailed notes. He obviously knew what he was doing and we were very impressed with his level of detail. the whole projects included kitchen countertop, backsplash, fireplace, laundry and powder room.
Before the installation, Joe spent a lot of time carefully taking all sorts of measurements and creating actual physical templates out of pieces of wood.
And Joe had great patience working with me for several options of design.
His installation crew was neat, professional. They cut the quartzite in a very fine and discrete way. The team of four people lifted the heavy quartzite many times to make sure the fit was perfect.
His crew were also very polite, meticulous about their work, and very clean and careful. I loved these people! My new counters, backsplash, fireplace are beautiful and expertly installed! Throughout the process, Joe always responded to my emails or phone call/​messages on timely manner and resolved any questions or issues. He was extremely professional and just a really nice guy. His customer service was excellent and their prices are reasonable. I would not hesitate to work with him again on another project.

I found Joe through his excellent Unilocal reviews. I’m glad I did because he did a lot of work in my condo rehab and was wonderful to work with. First, he laid a tile floor in the kitchen, two bathrooms and the living room. It turned out so well that when I found out he does countertops as well, I decided to use him for the granite work as well. He suggested the slab yard where I found beautiful granite at a huge discount because the slabs had cracks along the side. I called Joe and the next day he went to look at the slabs to see if he could work around the cracks. When he told me he could work with the slabs, I bought them and Joe picked them up. A little over a week later, Joe had installed counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, and used the extra granite to face the fireplace. They turned out so well and I couldn’t be happier. Joe does what he says, meets you when he says he will, doesn’t give you any excuses for delay because he gets the job done, and he is a pleasure to work with. You won’t be sorry you used him.

Joe is AWESOME!!! I called him with such short notice about getting specific countertops installed into our new home. He was out to measure later that day, had his crew in to demo the old countertops the following day, and within a few days I had my countertops installed!!! They look amazing! Joe and his crew were SUPER professional and did an amazing job!!! Thank you so much!!!

I hired Joe based on reviews on Unilocal,and then meeting him and getting my estimate. Everything positive I read was also my experience. He was very patient and easy to talk to, he was extremely accommodating (when my project got delayed by someone else), and my favorite: he always came when he said he would! I even changed my mind about a trim I had chosen, and that he had installed, and he helped me pick a different one and installed it without making me feel bad.
I also liked that he was patient when I didn’t know a thing about granite edges, the size I wanted, etc., and he explained and showed examples of my choices. And, he only gave his opinion when I asked, not forcing me to do «his way» or the easy way on anything.
Joe did granite in the kitchen and powder room, as well as backsplash and trim in both. They turned out beautiful, and he was so easy to work with, we are now getting an estimate to have him do our master bathroom. I’ll post about that soon I hope …

I simple can’t say enough about Morgan Tile & Stone works. They returned my calls and emails promptly. They showed up on time for all three of their visits. Joe and his team were great to work with; he is a jolly guy with a great personality. I’ll give him a 100% on his customer service and quality. He picked out the most beautiful slab of granite for us. From his first visit to install was 7 days total, you’ll never get this kind service or speed from the big box stores. I got three bids and went with Morgan, I’m so happy with the job from start to finish.

Contacted this company and Joe came out on Sept 21, 2015 for an estimate for home reno. Measurements were taken and was told that he would get back with a quote in a few days. However, that was the last communication we had since he never followed up nor returned any phone calls and texts. Very unprofessional.

I would avoid– company has great reviews but we didn’t have a great experience.
— we paid for a full slab but didn’t receive our remnants. We were not made aware of this ahead of time even though every other countertop company we contacted said the remnants came with because you pay for the slab.
— I was never asked about a backsplash for our Quartz countertop in the bathroom. I wasn’t aware this wasn’t an automatic part of ordering a countertop until it was too late.
— Communication was all over email which was great for my busy lifestyle until we had an issue. Then we couldn’t get a hold of anyone.
— upon finishing the job my husband was quoted a different amount — upon calling the owner I was told they aren’t crooks and that my husband was wrong. Yet the installer who was here called the owner who repeated the wrong price to my husband (an additional $ 200). Weird, right?
— we were never told that our countertop would require a seam down the middle of the sink– we didn’t know this until after the countertop was installed.
— we weren’t aware that you needed a hole for the dishwasher air gap. Upon emailing the owner back after finding or this was needed, no response. You would anticipate a well versed countertop installer would ask these questions when dealing with a non– contractor.
Finally the clue game piece of it all. We were renovating our house and we had several lowes buckets around the house but no toilet as we had gutted the entire bathroom– my contractor came back to work the day after the countertop installers where there to find a bucket he had left in the house had been shat in. That’s right folks– the installers pooped in a bucket then left it in the house.
NEVER AGAIN. Avoid and go with someone who may be higher priced but is at least honest and won’t shit on you.

This will be my official best review on Unilocal.I read the other Unilocal reviews and wished there were more reviews to go on, but given the great reviews and 5 star rating I decided to pursue anyway.
Joe is extremely experienced with tile and stone and was completely involved in the process. He was easy to get in touch with and responded immediately, he made us feel like an important customer even though we were getting a smallish project done and we chose a lower priced material. He worked to make things affordable and we were impressed with his quotes and especially the fact that when I asked about adding an overhang he didn’t even add to the price and said he could make it work with the material included.
We ended up going with the arctic white quartz for our kitchen counters and he was totally cool when we decided to wait on the island install, for our reno funds to rebuild. He is just totally cool about everything and flexible and good natured and great to talk with.
The craziest part is that I called him on Monday morning of this week and we were desperate to have the install this week if possible and guess what? We’ve been sitting in our kitchen this evening (Thursday) staring at our gorgeous gorgeous counters! Amazing!
Which leads me to the workmanship and quality of the counters. I mean, it’s incredible! They did this gorgeous blend from a narrow bank of cupboards to a standard depth, it is like artwork. And we chose to go with prefabs which are more affordable, and the joins/​seams are blended to perfection. It’s just seriously that impressive and the fact that it’s done on a totally white surface and blends so well is awesome. The under mount sink cut is perfect. I will try to get photos on here once the rest of our kitchen is finished because the counter top photo that another Unilocal reviewer posted let me see an example of the beauty in the work by Joe and Julio and everyone involved. It was so simple and a smooth process (and actually fun which is not what you’d expect renovating) to work with Joe and his team.
And the fact that Joe was around every step of the way gave such a feeling of continuity, it just made it feel like the company is invested in the project and cares and there was no risk of miscommunication. From the get go Joe was in measuring and then working with the weird issues in our kitchen and on the phone with his team to make sure every odd curve in our walls or cabinets was worked into the plans. He brought the color sample to double check the morning of to make sure it was exactly what we wanted because he wanted us to be 100% happy — and we are! Sorry this is getting long to read, but honestly we highly recommend you call Joe and you will receive excellent communication, attention to detail, a great team of skilled installers and genuinely nice people helping upgrade your home.
We will be repeat customers absolutely!

Joe Morgan and his crew did an Excellent job on my new Ceasarstone kitchen counter tops!
Orginally, I was calling and looking all over the place to get someone to do our counters. Others flaked out etc. Then Memorial day weekend I was googling around and I thought it would be nice if there was a Good Local reasonable quality guy I could use and then his web site popped up. I called him on a Sunday and was surprised he picked up. I told him I didn’t want to bug him on a Sunday but I was interested in getting an estimate. From there on it was great working with him. He was very professional and always followed through with his word. His price was very reasonable. He took his time with us and stopped by several times to assess the situation. The counter tops Look Great! I am going to try to upload a pic. I am so glad I hired Joe Morgan Stoneworks! Plus, he’s a really Nice Guy and he loves music!

Joe did a WONDERFUL job installing our quartz counters and backsplash. He went above and beyond and even came back and redid a part of my backsplash when I changed my mind about a portion. He is easy to work with, gets the job done fast, and has great customer service. What more do you need? Trying to decide who to use for your tile and stone? GO WITH JOE!

Found Joe on Unilocal.He has been so easy and responsive. He answered my myriad of questions patiently and was flexible in coordinating with my kitchen cabinet installation changes. I chose a Cambria countertop and he and his crew did a beautiful job installing. Part of the reason we chose him was that he could do the backsplash as well as the counter and he was so helpful in figuring out how it would look. He made the process pretty easy.
Joe is at the house now finishing the grout. It’s funny I kept thinking he was so easy going; was he for real and he is. We are very pleased.

We hired Joe and his team to replace the countertops and back splash in our kitchen and powder room. Joe came to give us his bid and I liked him right away. He is a genuine person who wasn’t trying to sell us on anything we didn’t want. His bid was the very best and he didn’t come up with any additional add ins. The final bill was based on that original bid. The job was completed in a timely manner and on the timeline he said it would. Joe is a skilled craftsman and I highly recommend him for your granite or tile project. We are glad we hired him!

We found Joe Morgan via Unilocal and his website when I was looking for a fabricator. Since his shop was very close to my house, I felt that was an advantage. We had a couple challenging things to deal with including wanting our large eating bar to be self-​supported if possible with no pillars to the ground. His team fabricated steel reinforcements into the plywood substrate for the counters. I can’t be happier with what Joe and his team did to both our kitchen and Fireplace. For the Fireplace he used the leftover slab from the kitchen, and some scrap dark silestone to completely transform an old brick fireplace to a beautiful formal fireplace. I’ll upload pictures for those when our new firedoors come. Good communication and a willingness to work with us to develop our vision showed through the project and we’re sure we’ve now got our forever kitchen. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joe for any job. He was very upfront with his pricing and broke everything out. Was quite reasonable also based on some early quotes we had done at big-​box stores.

I contacted Morgan Tile & Stoneworks and had the pleasure of speaking with Joe. He came to my house that same day and gave me a very fair quote. After obtaining more quotes, I decided to go with Morgan Tile. They did an excellent job with my kitchen. My countertops look amazing and so does my kitchen. I’m very grateful with the quick and professional job they did.

My husband and I were looking for someone to install new tile in two of our bathrooms (shower and flooring) and found Joe Morgan from Morgan Tile & Stoneworks on Unilocal.Not only was Joe professional, personable and reliable but so were his crew. found this company on Unilocal as I need some marble tiles trimmed to make both sides bullnose shape, Joe gave me a very good price and he get all of them done beautifully and on time. I highly recommend this company for stone works and would definitely use them again.

The local Tile Company in Anaheim, CA. gave us the phone number for Joe from Morgan Tile and Stoneworks, I called Joe and he stopped by our home and gave us an honest estimate.
This local Tile Company (Stone Dock) helped us pick out a slab of granite and tile. We shopped around and picked out a new sink, drains, disposal and found a plumber to do the finish plumbing.
From start to finish Joe and his crew were on time, professional and kept me informed and part of their work, we even shared a few jokes and talked about the 70s. The kitchen now looks like a model home, their work is outstanding. They let me be part of the renovation, watching them do the work and reinstalling the electrical covers.
Two pieces of slab were used and Joe made sure the seam is invisible, nice job!
