Went for dinner on a Thursday evening. Told 20 min. wait, took 10 min. We ordered 5 different sushi rolls, chicken bento box and sashimi. Rolls were great, sashimi fresh, chicken however was over cooked on one side. Plenty of staff. Overall very pleased.

The food was tasty, perhaps 4 stars. I was disappointed by the ambiance. It reminded me of a nice fast food restaurant. One of the men servers was great, the others were so, so.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much at all but I’m highly impressed by the service and food at Orange Sushi! I didn’t get our server’s name(she only works Tuesdays) but she was attentive and showed genuine care about how our dining experience was. It was a full house inside but she even came outside and offered water to everyone waiting in the sun. Who does that?! The fish tasted fresh, and all the rolls were excellently executed. Best Philadelphia roll I’ve had and I’ve had a lot. If you’re a fan of salmon, definitely order the salmon roll. They are extremely generous with their fish portions, and at $ 4.99, it’s a steal! Keep it up, Orange Roll & Sushi.

Fast, affordable, and delish. My girlfriend and I were in the area and decided to try Orange Roll & Sushi and we were really surprised that we loved this place. The Food: * The fish was GOOD. For the price point and the area, the sushi quality was fresh * The specialty rolls are a really great size and come with a lot of pieces * The best value are the bowls, which are delicious as hell. With some miso soup, you can walk away with a great ~$ 9 meal. Bottom Line: I think if you’re going to get sushi in this area I don’t think you’ll get better quality fish than Orange Roll, seriously. You’ll spend $ 13/person or more here, but that’s about average for less-expensive sushi places and you can’t beat quality at this price. Other Tips: * Parking lot made parking easy * Gets busy at peak times! We got there at 5pm and there wasn’t a wait time. * Really small place, probably less than 10 small tables.

Impressed with this great place to eat sushi The staff is phenomenal. There is usually a line out the door and for good reason. Whether your food is to go or to sit down it is always quick enough. The prices are actually pretty darn good. If you’re in the orange area stop by this place. You won’t regret it.

Came in today for dinner and decided to grab the salmon bowl and a yellowtail hand roll. Food: The salmon tasted amazing! It had that fresh taste and buttery texture which is usually present in good quality sushi. The presentation of the bowl looked great too, but I’ll stay focused on the food. Overall, the bowl was great! It came with rice, salmon, and daikon(I think). The salmon bowl was $ 10.95, prior to tax, and I would highly recommend trying it out. Service: Service was impeccable! Joseph helped me out tonight and was promptly there to help out when I was seated.

I wanted to give this place 3 stars because one worker here kind of ruined our experience, but I decided to give them 4 because the girls on the floor seemed to try their very best to give my boyfriend and I a good experience. We came in on a Saturday night around 8 with only one other party ahead of us. We ordered the Jalapeño Poppers, Mussels, Rainbow Roll, and Volcano Roll. Shortly after our appetizers came out, we also asked to order the Spicy Ramen. Everything was delicious, but I must say the fried onions on the Volcano Roll tasted a bit stale. We got full halfway through eating our two rolls and decided we’d pack it up and just wait for our ramen. One of the waitresses gave us boxes and our tab, even though our ramen hadn’t come out yet(which I wish she’d notice before giving us the tab). After showing her our receipt to inform her that we were still waiting on the ramen, she notified the guy/kid behind the counter, who seemed to have a bad attitude. He had put our ramen order in a take-out container and made it seem like we made the mistake of asking for it as a take out order. He had this expression like we were a nuisance to him. Homie put our dine-in order in a container, left it there, and had the audacity to throw shade! Our waitress offered to remove it from our tab, but my boyfriend wanted to try out the ramen. Just to confirm that I was right about the container sitting out, since we waited for 30 minutes, my boyfriend and I opened up the ramen right then and there to find the noodles soggy and bland. 4 stars for the the delicious sushi and attentive WAITRESSES! 0 stars and an attitude check for the dude behind the register for fucking up our experience. These girls had to pick up his slack and apologize for his mistake. I hope management actually reads this review and does something about the kid behind the register.

My sister and I did takeout, ordered two rolls of salmon, shrimp tempura, and spicy tuna. The cashier – Asian girl, probably Korean – was pretty damn rude. She looked bored taking orders and spoke with an apathetic tone. The restaurant is ridiculously small, parking lot is practically nonexistent. The food is expensive, but the shrimp tempura roll is huge in diameter. The salmon is delicious, but we weren’t a fan of the spicy tuna. Their wait on a Friday night was about 30 – 40 minutes if you wanted to dine in; otherwise, takeout is 10 – 15 minutes. There aren’t many sushi places around Orange, so this is a good place when you’ve got a hankering.

This place is great. I came a few weeks back, for the first time, and it was great. Back again, trying something a bit different, but I’m sure it’s going to be great. Super friendly people working, the sushi is on point. The guy even pointed out a combo that made things a little cheaper. Point is, they do what is best for you, not for them. Thanks again.

I think this place is fine if you’re in the mood for rolls(hence the name«Orange Roll» & sushi), but it just wasn’t my favorite spot. I had the amber roll and wasn’t impressed by fish on top of the roll as much as I was impressed by the sheer size. Don’t get me wrong, you get a lot of roll for what you’re paying for but the quality just isn’t the best for me. Some of the rice grains were hard, and the rolls kind of fell apart when we picked them up. I can tell that this is meant to be a quick sushi spot, and I can appreciate that — but it’s just not what I’m into. Also the restaurant and parking lot are REALLYTINY.

Must try Amber Roll! They do not hold back, you get your money worth with thick cuts and unique rolls. I will definitely be returning for more! FYI: Parking lot & restraunt is super small but all worth it!

The restaurant was empty when I got there, but it seemed like it was pretty clean and nice. I got the Flaming Pearl or something… it had crab and avocado, with baked scallop and fried onions on top. It wasn’t too bad. Pretty good, but they definitely skimped out on the scallops. Also, because it was togo, the fried onions were(unsurprisingly) very limp and not crunchy. Overall, I am not sure if the place is worth the prices. They had a couple of specials, like 2 full rolls of the cheap stuff(CA, crunchy, spicy tuna) and miso soup for $ 10. I would rather go to happy hour for sushi or go to a quality AYCE sushi place next time.

I think I officially found my new sushi spot in O.C. I was really impressed with the quality of their sushi and how reasonable their prices were. At first I was skeptical because I eat nigiri sushi and sashimi, so I usually avoid sushi places that specialize in rolls. I tend to find those sushi restaurants serve poor quality fish and makeup for it by making pretty looking rolls that are drenched in sauce to mask the quality of the fish. Orange Roll & Sushi does serve a variety of rolls, but their quality of fish is really good. I at their nigiri sushi(Yellow Tail and Freshwater Eel) as well as their Salmon Bowl and their Orange Roll. READMORE: WARNING: Parking can be an issue so come early or expect to fight for parking.

I came here with extremely high expectations because of all the raving reviews but I was really underwhelmed after having dinner here with a dear friend. The 20 minute wait outside was not worth it. My friend let me pick the dinner place and I was really embarrassed when it didn’t turn out so good. After she sat down, she was really excited and said she was craving sashimi. One glimpse at their small and mediocre sashimi selections left us extremely disappointed. She decided to order from their sushi roll selections instead. We started off with their Kissing Fish appetizer, which is baked cray fish with imitation crab(3⁄5). The sauce was really sweet so all I tasted was sugar. Then we ordered the Oh Yeah(seared albacore with garlic butter roll) and the Tokyo Spring(no rice). We asked for two sides of spicy mayo — which had an odd texture and tasted sweet rather than spicy. I think they may have used Japanese mayo? Basically everything(except for the Tokyo Spring) I had here was sweet — including the Oh Yeah Roll. My biggest pet peeve is masking delicious fish flavor with sweet sauces that overwhelm your tastebuds. Yuck! The service was standard, nothing extraordinary enough to note mentioning. The long wait and the sweet sushi just isn’t for me.

I was getting ready to go home from work when my sister called me and asked for a lift for her and her friend. I picked up them up and found out her friend lives deep in Orange. It just so happens it was near Orange Roll and Sushi so we decided to make a stop here and grab dinner. First off there are not a lot of seats much to my surprise. I always picture it to be a lot bigger but sadly it wasn’t. You don’t even have to wait to be seated, just grab a seat they said. Most people get the sushi to-go here. I glanced at the menu and decided to run with the… darn I forgot the name. Anyways it was ok. It definitely was not fresh at all but the taste was average. It wasn’t good or bad. I’m actually quite surprised by the super high Unilocal ratings. I think its probably because of the friendly service. They are pretty friendly here and the service was quick and precise. Sadly I just didn’t enjoy the food all that much. I’ve actually recommended my coworker to this place even though I hadn’t been prior to this day. He told me it was bomb so I got really hyped. It just didn’t live up to my expectations but its definitely a good sushi place if you’re on the move. For to-go sushi, its quite good… for a sit down sushi place its just ok. PS limited parking… its located in the same complex as a tattoo joint and laundry mat and taco place. Yeah I should have known better.
