Place was really small and it was hot AF inside no fans or AC. The waitress was did a good job ! The mango michelada was horrible it was sour and salty and to make matter worst my horchata was warm Band was loud hard to have a conversation but it was father day so everyone seem to enjoy it but won’t come again if always this hot and have to pay for valet parking

I’m not sure that I liked being forced to valet park for $ 4. The service was attentive. The menu was interesting. We got shrimp ceviche and the coconut roll. No actual sushi available, only rolls. Our friends had a roll and campenchana that was good. Food was decent. Mariachi band was rockin– but too loud to have any conversation. Our kids got kids meals and 3 meals came out but the 4th came about 10 minutes later. Overall it was fine– just not sure we’d go back.

Tried this restaurant today for the first time. Came here without reading any reviews first so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Pulling up to the parking lot is really small and it was full when we arrived so we had to park next door at the car wash. Entering the restaurant it was really small as well. We waited about 10 mins for a table for 6. While we sat down our waitress brought over chips and salsa for us. I really enjoyed the salsa it has the perfect amount of spice for me that I was not expecting(I can eat pretty spicy). For drinks I got a strawberry margarita and my BF got a mango michelada. We both really enjoyed our drinks. For the food we got 4 different ceviches to share. The two that I really liked were the shrimp and fish. My friend got a tempura roll which I thought was ok. I got a dynamite roll that I absolutely loved! Better than a lot of Japanese restaurants I’ve been to lol. I shared with everyone and they all really liked it a lot better than the other roll. Don’t forget to check in with Unilocal cause you can get a free dessert if u show them. We got chocolate cake with strawberries and blueberries and it was good not overly sweet. Atmosphere in there was really loud. There were about 6 tv screens through out the restaurant playing a soccer game but our group was more interested in watching game 6 of the nba finals. Our host accommodated us and played it on one of the smaller screens which I thought was really nice of him. During halftime they switched to really loud Spanish music which I actually enjoyed but it was just a little too loud. I had to scream just so the person right across from me could hear me. Overall I will definitely be coming back here again soon and I’m gonna tell everyone I know!

Tried this place based on the reviews on Unilocal.Walking in, music playing not too loud they played Mariachi kind of feel along with some hip hop. It didn’t take long before we were seated A+ on that. Review on menu: a lot of ceviche selections to choose from anywhere from sushi, steak and the regulars. I settled for the quesadilla along with mango michelada. Food was eh, nothing special. Mango Michelada overly sweet do not reccomend . Family ordered the following; wet burrito –wtf they skimped out on the meat just rice. Shrimp ceviche– enjoyed that. The waitress got our drink order wrong, we ordered(1) Mango margarita –too sweet/cherry flavored(1) mango michelada(2) reg Michelada. What she charged:(3) Mango Michelada, (1) Regular Michelada(1) Mango Margarita. My sister tried to explain to our waiter that their was an error with the drink order and the waiter took offense and said no mistakes on the order WTF. My sister only wanted to correct the drink order and pay for what we actually ordered, simple enough right… so we thought. The waitress was unprofessional and didn’t want to correct the drink order. The waitress than started explaining to her boss about the order and that there was no error. Both her boss and waitress incompetent talking crap in Spanish not knowing my sister understood Spanish. For this horrible experience my family will be dining at the other more MOUTHWATERING, JAWDROPPING Resturaunts elsewhere. I really wanted to like you Palapas but you really need to work on your customer service and attitude. Own your mistakes, we all make mistakes it’s the only way to LEARN! What should have been an easy fix turned into a debacle.

Mango Michelada with Modelo was very delicious and one of the best ones I had in a long time. The Ceviche reminded me of the type that my family made with a lots of big chucks of shrimps and perfect amount of spice. The service was perfect extremely helpful and attentive. Also the deserts were to die for. Im looking for to come back and try the wide variety of seafood and drinks. I’m so glad I stop and visit this great establishment.

Was craving some mariscos and sushi and then found this place that serves both! Surprisingly the sushi«volcano roll» was the better then the cocktail but the ceviche still kicked ass! Not only that but we still got our free dessert! CHOCOLATECOVEREDSTRAWBERRIES. Yummy! Can’t complain leaving pretty satisfied

Dissapointed. I’ll keep it short. This place was recommended to me by a friend so I went to check it out. The micheladas are okay. But the food was crappy, at least what I had, which were california rolls. Pretty hard to mess that up. Definitely not coming back.

This is our first time visiting here. The tacos we orderd are beef and pork. The meat is dry dry … and hard to chew. The corn tortillas were hard and could not even wrapped. Not to even mentioned that the salsa which was tasteless. This is THEWORST tacos I had in my whole life. 1 free checkin desert offer at Unilocal, but we were asked to write a comment first to get the dessert. Is it a joke or what?

This is a pretty spot close to home and I’ve been wanting to try it for some time. Came on Mother’s Day just before 5pm and place was packed but we were able to get a booth right away. Glad we came when we did because line was out the door just 30 minutes later. Place isn’t too big and bit cramped with a small seating area outback. When we pulled in to park we saw they only had valet parking. I was definitely annoyed by this. The spot isn’t no fancy place to have valet for $ 4 only. They need to figure that out because I’m sure I won’t be the only one annoyed by that. They were definitely staffed with enough people to serve. We were greeted right away and brought complimentary chips and avocado salsa which was pretty good. Our server was very friendly and they kept checking to make sure we were okay. For being busy the good came out quickly and service was great. As for the food I definitely loved the shrimp ceviche! This dish alone is 5 stars. It has to be the best I’ve had. It was seasoned deliciously with lemon and pepper. It had tostada shells and we all digged into it for an appetizer. As for my plate it was tasty. I ordered the garlic shrimp which came with rice, salad and homemade corn tortillas. The shrimp were good but in my opinion a little to over sauced. I did really enjoy the rice which had corn pieces and was seasoned well. The salad was fresh but not really dressed. Had a slight vinegar flavor. Overall we enjoyed the food especially the ceviche! Oh I can’t forget the delicious Michelada I had with Modelo beer! It hit the spot with little cucumber pieces in the drink!

This little gem is great! My review is based on only a few items(I say this because they have a ton of different items on their menu). My wife and I shared the aguachile roll, volcano roll, and the camarones palapa. All three items had bold distinct flavors. At first my taste buds were all over the place, it was a true mixture of sushi and mariscos. It sounded weird at first, but within a minute or two my taste buds adjusted and I was able to enjoy the delicious taste and texture of this food. All 3 items get a 5 star in my book! I also tried the mango michelada, it was outstanding! Perfect summer drink! I will definitely be coming back. One word of advice, get there early!!! My wife and I had a meeting that got cancelled so we showed up around 5:45pm, at this point there was only about 1 or 2 other tables occupied. By the time we left(close to 7pm), the entire place was full!!! And there was a line out the door waiting to be seated. Mind you, this is a small place, it probably only sits about 40 people… Also, since they sell alcohol, some people plan on sipping and eating for a long time!!! As for the ambiance, it’s a Mexican joint, they play Banda and other types of Mexican music… It’s not too loud, but if your complete against it, it will probably ruin your experience. Aside from that, bring your appetite because you’ll definitely want to try more than just one thing.

This Place is super small and Packed… Its not at all what they make it seem to be… We came all the way from Long Beach because they said it was only a 10 – 15 minute wait for two people.-Of course when we got there they said it was a 45 min to an hour wait. Which is completely Ridiculous Definitely will NOT be coming Back!

So if you have visited this restaurant it is a small parking lot and that’s the only reason why there is valet but it’s only Thursday through Sunday in the afternoon during the busiest times! If the $ 4 dollars is too much talk to management they can give you a free fountain drink! The parking lot gets extremely packed and we wouldn’t be able to fit as many cars without valet! If anybody receives bad service let us know we are a family owned and operated restaurant and we are learning we won’t know what we have to work on if you don’t let us know

Very interesting mix of Mexican and suishi, a first for me. The volcano suishi roll was very tasty with albacore tuna, salmon, and tuna the roll was spicy with a touch of jalapeño on top. My second roll was a rainbow roll with tuna, salmon, crab, and anchovies the flavor was tasty also with a hint of sweet. This is a must try Mexican and suishi, 2 of my favorites and done well.
