These folks did right by me!
I have a ‘challenged’ credit history and was turned down over and over by dealers who told that they could finance anybody. They can… If you have a ton of cash to put down! Mike at OAE took a serious look at my credit and was confident that they could not only finance me with reasonable terms, but also find me the truck with the specific spec that I was looking for.
It didn’t happen over night, but within 2 weeks Mike called me back and had found exactly what I was looking for plus a few extra features that I hadn’t even had on my wish list. Within a a few days the truck was delivered, the paperwork process took minutes, not hours like most dealerships.
To top it all off, I was satisfied with the deal that I got. I had fully expected and accepted the fact that due to my less than perfect credit score that I would have an inflated APR. Not so. Mike found bank that offered very reasonable terms and kept the rate, payment, and terms well within my means. I got exactly the right vehicle, at the right price, and with great personal service. My new truck is going to last a good long while, but when I’m ready for a new one, I’ll be back.

Please read previous review as well… Not only did they overcharge for a battery replacement, but I just found out today they installed the wrong size. The mechanics at another shop I went to in Brea couldn’t believe the stupidity of the mechanic who initially put it in. They had never seen anything like it.

Omg! Had such a great experience here! Every one was amazing! From the moment i walked in the door till i left with my car. Mike did everything he needed to so that he could get me the lowest monthly payment and an amazing warranty! I cannot thank them enough!

We call 1^st the place to get approve and we talked 2 «LORAINE» over the phone. After she run and checked the credit and income she said we are approved and told us 2 come by the next day 2 check the cars they have. So we drove ther excited and hoping is a nice dealer. So we talk 2 the guy named «MICHAEL» and he show us one car that we want. And after that he asked us that he will check the credit and everything so he asked for ID, paystub, direct deposit statement and everything thing. «„I’m like,!! We thought Loraine run the credit already and we got approve that’s why we are here,“» ok so we gave everything again then w8! And then «MICHAEL» said one of the bank is close that day so they can’t do anything. So he said he will fix and call the bank Tomorrow and he will call us so we can get the car. We’re like are you sure we can get that car we want! And he said yes he will fix and call tomorrow once the bank open. Ok. So the next day the bank open at 9am. Just to make sure we are not getting victimize by professional scammer. We call them like 11am for some answers. And guess wat,??? «MICHAEL» is off that day! The guy named «JECEE» told us. OMG. Really. How he gonna fix our application if he’s off. 1^st sign of dishonest person. So we talked 2 jecee instead and explain everything again and again. And he said he will fix it and give us a call later. So we w8. So we never got call back after 2hours. So we called again and «JECEE» answer and he said he’s still working on it. But we have to put 3k down payment plus 450 monthly. We’re like ok Watever we will take that just to end the transaction. But for some stupid reason jecee said he will call us back again 2 see if he can do something 2 lower the payment. And we’re like ok! So it’s 5pm already and he never call back. So we call him instead. And this is more shocking than ever! «JECEE» said the monthly now is $ 550. So it goes more up than down. I’m like really? So we get disappointed by his way of working. Is obviously one of the professional scammer we see in TV. So once again he told us that he will call the bank again tomorrow and try to lower the payment. And we’re like everytime you call the bank, the payment get higher. So the whole next day past by. No call from them. And in the third day we found out that the car is sold already.
Advice to customer: pls protect ur selves, scammer people are blending around.
Advice to orange empire: how shameful the way you guys making money 2 feed your family and specially your kids! Honesty is a simple word that you guys doesn’t have. Wasting time and scamming people won’t make you guys human.

I found the vehicle online and called them. After discussing options over the phone Mike had the vehicle ready for me to pick up. I arrived at the dealer, test drove the car, and completed the paperwork in about one hour.

I was shopping for a car for 2 ½ months I had cash to put down and a very good credit score. Let me tell you this journey was exhausting between the dishonest car dealerships out there and all of the hidden underhand tactics that these sales people were doing to make a sale I was about to give up… When my husband located a used vehicle like the new ones that we were looking at with very low miles… He went over to check out the car and let me just say they were the easiest car dealership to work with! Honest honest honest! 1 2 3 the car was ours! They have a customer for life… Thank you guys again for the no stress sale! I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!!

Yesterday me and my GF bought our first car a 2014 Honda Accord EX it was a bit out of our price range but Mike said «I like to give customers what they want» and he did he delivered great customer service made us feel welcomed and at home they are definitely there to help out the client more than they are there for themselves. I use to think that the term «Certified Pre-​Owned» was just another buzz-​word for used car. Well, when I went shopping for my next vehicle, I saw some pretty incredible vehicles with low mileage, no dents, scratches, no reconditioned junkers, or any hidden surprises with them.
I bought a 2010 Jeep Commander and I was able to get a very decent price and a «not-​too-​shabby» interest rate (not so great credit) with my credit.
I truly enjoyed my experience so much that (2 months later) I just bought a 2^nd vehicle. A black 2008 Ford Expedition with 34,000 miles. Hoo Rah!

Great staff… I was in a bind when my car finally said it had enough… Mike was wonderful and helped get into my new car… I. wasnt pressured into anything and allowed me to take a look around there inventory, which was a huge selection. Found a car I wanted not what a dealer said I had to have or could get out into… best experience buyinga car EVER!!!

Buyers BEWARE. This dealer lies and does not stand by it’s promises. They are your typical shoddy dealer with really bad customer service.
After my last post the dealer finally contact me and surprise surprise, they had not fixed the problem and they decided to fix other issues with the SUV. All of a sudden now they are way more money into the SUV and cannot sell it to me at our original agreement let alone give us a credit for all the wasted trips and stress they caused.
They had the nerve to tell me that because they cannot fix the TPS sensor issue, they are not going to sell it at the dealer. they are going to whole sale it. I offered to buy it As is no warranty for only $ 1000 less than our previous deal and they said they had too much invested into the SUV and could not sell it for that much. They would either wholesale it or sell it at action. How does that make sense? I’m still offering 20% over book value. At wholesale the best they can get is trade value and at action they have to account for action fees on top of the lower offer. There is no way their story makes sense. What business in their right mind would take a bigger loss by choice?
The last communication with the dealer was with a sales man that said the owner would call me shortly, there was nothing he could do, The owner was at lunch (at 2pm) and we could try working something out when he got back. I offered to drive down and work out a deal but the guys quickly stopped me and promised the owner would call me back. Hours later an nothing. I don’t know what happened but I have a feeling that they either did not fix anything and were just trying to play a con, or they sold it out from under me. I’m so glad that I cancelled the contract after I found the last issue. Otherwise my down payment would have been stuck with these guys.
Avoid this dealer at all costs.

So i went to this place with my brother and my dad, needless to say the facility was great. One of the guys that worked there, Dave i think, he was really nice made us feel welcomed. When my dad was with Dave discussing about the Hummer we wanted to get, my brother & i went to look around, and oh boy do they have really nice cars. The whole process was kind of lengthy, but thats to be expected when buying a car. We even test drove the Hummer before we bought it and my dad immediately loved it. We got to take it home the same day & the entire way home my dad was very happy with the decision.

What a difference car buying was at Orange Empire! Car under market value and 4.5% less rate than the credit union. Not only that but Mike and Dave and Lorayn worked as a team so that we felt that they were actually helping us and not hunting us as we felt at all the other places. I don’t know how Mike works his magic but ever so thankful that he did! I will buy all my cars here from now on. My son has a car that will get him through college and into his new world. Thanks guys!

Dave is so nice and personable! Chet was great as well. I never once felt pressured or overwhelmed. They were knowledgeable about every car on the lot & you test drive alone, private & you felt like you were dealing with family. The prices are the best! You can compare to auto trader, craigslist, personal sales & obviously dealerships, and wow! What a difference! Super happy!

So I never received a refund for the battery I purchased because I never found my receipt. I didn’t know I would need it until Orange contacted me to change my review .
2 years later I still owe 22k, can’t refinance a high mileage vehicle. I went back to Orange Empire, to my surprise they changed locations. I wanted to see if I could trade in, the staff there didn’t seem interested in helping us at all, they didn’t have a big selection either. They obviously didn’t want to trade in an upside down vehicle. I wouldn’t benefit them to do so.
Today I’m stuck with a gasket oil leak and engine mount broken. I never been in an accident with the vehicle, they promised the Tahoe was never in an accident when I purchased it, I’m starting to wonder if that was true.

The people who work here makes buying a car like getting a swiss hot stone massage. Not only do they remember your name, but they give you their full and undivided attention.
Buying a car here was so painless and super easy. I recommend working with Kait and Chet. I swear I was in and out of the dealership with a new car in under 2 hours. I am going to recommend this to friends.
