Pie is good.
Pie is great.
What else was I supposed to say? The s’mores pie is basically a graham crackery, chocolatey, marshmellowy heaven. I’ve slowly come to realize that there’s nothing that can’t be made into a better idea by turning it into a s’more. If someone let me I’d probably eat it 7 days a week.
As for the french Silk pie? Well, chocolate, whip cream, and more chocolate. What else are you looking for here? It’s basically happiness on a plate.
Actually, everything they serve is happiness on a plate.

A beautiful little shop to stop by, especially on a hot day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The selection of pies was larger than I expected considering I came by 30 minutes before closing.
I chose a slice of Key Lime, a pie which I make a particular version of at home from time to time. They say it’s possible to mess up a key lime pie, but I don’t see how since there are so few ingredients. I’ve never met one I didn’t like, and that includes Pie Junkie’s version. They serve it «naked»; if I could improve it I might add some freshly whipped heavy cream and a sprinkle of sea salt.
The inside of the shop is welcoming and clean, and I enjoyed my stay. It’s the kind of place that would fit right in in New Orlean’s Garden District.
I have a feeling you wouldn’t be able to go wrong here at Pie Junkie, even if you tried. And so I will try, eating slice after slice ceaselessly into the future.
I plan to be back to try a fruit pie next time.

No trip to the Plaza is complete without a tasty slice at Pie Junkie. Great pies, better people.

Tried 4 types of pie: French silk, key lime, apple crumble, and peanut butter. I would rate them in this order. Place and area of store is cool and hipster. I really enjoyed the pie and would have bought more but they were $ 4 a slice. They have day old pie for $ 3.14 which I bought 2 slices of and they were great! Really enjoyed the crust on the pies! Will come back in my next visit to OKC!

Always ask for tomato pie when the tomatoes are in season. Fabulous!

A lot of people seem to like this place, I gave it a try and wasn’t overly impressed. I think the crust of be pie is the most important part for me, and I didn’t particularly like the crust on the pie we had. The pie overall was okay. Maybe one day I’ll stop by and try it out again.

This place is so cute! Fun pie flavors and a nice atmosphere.
There aren’t many places to get just pie in OKC but this one tops the list!
I couldn’t give this place five stars simply because the pie is overwhelmingly sweet.
They have fun flavors but the amount of sugar eclipses the flavor of the pie.
I’ve had the drunken turtle, bird dog buttermilk, and key lime. They key lime is a little better because it has sour to even out the sweet, but overall it’s a fun place to hang out with friends.
If you haven’t been you should definitely check it out! The people here are really nice and it’s right next door to DNA.
If you have a sweet tooth, this place is sure to satisfy!

Fantastic!!!
I had the pecan pie. This honestly, was the closest to my Nanny’s (my grandma) pie that I have ever had. The crust was flaky and the filling wasn’t straight sugar. It had a great taste and the pecans had the gooey glaze on them. I would definitely go again!

One word: ADDICTING
Still haven’t tried all the pies yet, but my favorites so far are apple crumble and macadamia key lime.

Pie Junkie is truly an OKC treasure. I was in Florida recently, and FLORIDA locals were even asking me about this wonderful pie place that they had heard of in OKC. It’s been raved about and reviewed nationally and it’s much deserved. The people who work there are so kind, and the PIE. The pie is to DIE for. It’s just fantastic, and if you’re bringing someone from out of town, it’s definitely a must go destination.

Excellent pies by the slice or by the whole pie. Not cheap but reasonable for the quality of pie you get. There can be a line so be ready to wait some and they do run out of your favorite pie every now and then. Be patient and you get rewarded with a great slice of pie.

This pie is really good. I have had a piece from the twice recently and enjoyed booth. I had the Key Lime. This was a good version of Key Lime but not great. I guess it depends on where you are used to eating Key Lime pie from. Me I am usually in south Florida when this is happening. The next I tried was the Apple Crumb cake with no bottom… not sure the reason but there was no bottom but was discounted accurately. Okay not a fan of the crumb topping would prefer crust. I will say this crumb top was better than most I have had. The best part of this was the apple filling. Amazing and maybe one of the best apple fillings I have ever had. I will go back as long as they are open when I am in the area.

Well they have damn fine pie. I was in the Plaza District to visit a friend’s shop – check out Reference Point, people! But I can’t say that I get to the Plaza District very often – poor parking options – too many places selling kitsch as lifestyle – BUT Pie Junkie delivers. Not literally of course. You go in – you get some pie and it’s delicious. I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter which I thought was really delicious.
Pie slices are 4.00 bucks. They have quiche too. Place is small and it’s busy on Saturday which is when I went. I like it. Check it out

First things first the pies are delicious, there’s no arguing that. However, deliciousness factor goes down a star or two when customer service is poor or illogical for that matter. Because I like the pies so much I have a punch card here. Every time you get a slice you get a hole punched. But when I bought an entire pie, I got zero holes punched. That’s eight slices in a pie people! Don’t think I expected eight punches that’s absurd, but I just spent quadruple the amount I would on one slice, at least hook a sista up with one hole punch as I’m hookin your establishment up, with money that is.

I have been dreaming of going here ever since hearing about it and I finally made it to the Plaza District before 7 p.m. It is a wonderful place! They have many choices to chose from and that was the hardest part for me. I almost said «Give me all the pie» I couldn’t just get one. The pie was great! I had the Southern Style Banana Cream Pie and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the Drunken Turtle Pie. WOW was that pie rich and we also loved that the caramel topping wasn’t hard but rather gooey. Will go back to try more! One thing I don’t like about the place is that it closes early!

I’d love to write a honest review but I can’t because Pie Junkie closes at 7pm. Why would a dessert place close before most people have started dinner?

Good portion, smooth texture, not overly sweet, nice crust that doesn’t break apart into pieces.

I had a very nice cut of chocolate cream pie that was for some unknown reason labeled as «French silk». It was far from a French silk pie. My wife had a cut of the drunken turtle. I enjoyed it but, my wife didn’t care for the brownie like texture of the center. I’ll go back to try the other pies but, not going to rush there based on what we had.

There’s nowhere to park! No matter — it’s more than worth the two-​block walk I had to take after I found a place to park my car. Great pies, great staff. Their pies are now officially invited to our house for holidays and other special family occasions.

We went and ordered:
Apple pie
Peanut Butter & Chocolate
And the Turtle
The apple pie was dry and bland
Peanut Butter tasted like air, not a lot of flavor, must have been over whipped.
The Turtle was fabulous.
They were pretty busy when we went and maybe that was the problem, was really hoping this would be fabulous.

Let me say first that I don’t like pie. No particular reason, I just never prefer it over other desserts. With that being said, I’m awfully sad I live in a different state. The drunken turtle was the best dessert I’ve had in a LONG time, & I eat lots of desserts. I’m now trying to find reasons to come back to oklahoma and bring back about 5 – 6 whole pies. It would be so amazing if they sold these online and shipped out of state!!! I’m craving it so bad.

Stopped by for the first time today and I’m in love! Had the drunken turtle and had to stop myself from getting another slice. It was perfect! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ will be back again

I thought pie was a dessert served twice a year while you tried to tune out your racist uncle. This is not that pie. This pie will haunt your dreams. This pie will invade your thoughts while you are working on a speadsheet. This is the pie you will serve at your wedding in lieu of cake. Try it. Try them all.
The friendliest staff and the cutest, cleanest little pie shop. Hit them up on live! nights for happy hour 3.14 (get it?) dollar slices.

Heaven by the slice. Believe the hype. Every concoction they come up with is pure awesome. Walk in the amazingly whimsical shop and just soak it all in.
Highlights we’ve sampled include chocolate cream, coconut cream, and the seasonal pumpkin crumble (which will blow your mind, and put other pumpkin pies to shame).
Dine in for a fun girls outing or date night — or get yourself a whole pie to make any holiday or special occasion all the more epic. Just be sure to order ahead! Their pie reservations are highly coveted and fill up fast!
It pays to pay attention to their social media, too. Sometimes last minute whole pies become available if they have cancellations, and it’s an opportunity worth jumping on!
Pie Junkie is most definitely on its way to becoming an OKC institution.

Oh my I just had the coconut cream pie at Pie Junkie. What an absolute treat. I made me feel Devine, really it did. Just look at my plate. Made you look. If your ever in the area give em a try.

I love Pie Junkie. Their pies are delicious. It’s so great they have a storefront, because I can go and get dessert pie-​by-​the-​slice. And by dessert, I mean anytime of day. Because anytime is pie time.
The chocolately-​chocolateness of the Red Velvet pie had me running back to them recently. I also love the coconut cream. My favorites are berry pies though. I am picky about pastry crusts but their pastry is great. I would not buy a berry pie from anyone else. They also have a good savory sausage quiche pie.
There are gluten friendly options available.
I would give 4.5 stars overall because occasionally the cashier person is not proactive or friendly. The Pie Junkie team seems friendly and vibrant, so I am not sure what is up with some of the people at the cash register.

Pie Junkie was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Went in and they had my favorite flavor, Coconut Cream and I immediately bought a whole pie instead of a slice. Reasonably priced for the size and quality. DELICIOUS.

Amazing! The drunken turtle is a must have! It was pretty sweet so I shared with a friend but the flavor was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, staff very personable and clean atmosphere. I highly recommend if you have a sweet tooth :)

Love their pies. My boyfriend is a regular, and has ordered about 15 pies last month and this month combined. The service is not too wonderful. They didn’t even give my boyfriend a stamp card for a free pie so, I’m assuming it’s just something you find on the counter on your own, and they will not let you know about it in person even if you order 8 pies at once.
When I went I didn’t feel like the girl at the register wanted to help me or anything, and she spoke to me in the manner as if I was less inferior to her. She talked back to me, and was just really stuck up. The pies are pretty good though and I’ve tried pretty close to all of them. My favorite pies are the drunken turtle and banana cream. Next time, I’ll just let my boyfriend pick up the pies for me, because I surely didn’t get a very welcoming vibe when I went inside.

«Junkie» is an appropriate name. I am well aware of my propensity to latch on to things I find fascinating and have it consume my existence thereafter. Pie Junkie is quickly becoming one of those things. They took something that I didn’t really care for (namely… pies) and managed to make me like it. A lot. The Bird Dog Buttermilk. The Drunken Turtle. The Savory Quiches. Oh Mylanta.
The Bird Dog Buttermilk is a personal favorite for me. It’s better than any normal buttermilk pie I’ve had. I don’t know enough about pies to give you a detailed description of what your taste-​buds should be picking up. I’m one of those «Cake is better than Pie» people, but Pie Junkie makes me think twice about that. And then it makes me think twice more when I’m eating a decadent slice. If you listen carefully, you can hear my willpower screaming as it dies like the Wicked Witch of the West: «Ahhhhhh! You cursed Pie Junkie! Look what you’ve done! I’m melting! Melting! Oh, what a world! What a world! Who would have thought a pie shop like you could destroy my waistline?! Oooooh, look out! I’m going! Oooooh! Oooooooooooooh!»
Aaaaaand… Scene.
The caveat: I think Pie Junkie is fantastic, as long as you buy an entire pie. If I had to rate Pie Junkie based on my single slice experiences (which I’ve done a couple times now), I would drop it to [*][*][*][*] because the by the slice price, it’s not so nice. $ 4 for a single slice is ridiculous, and will leave you largely unsatisfied. But when you’re paying $ 22 for an entire pie, the math works out to $ 2.75 a slice (for 8 people). When I look at it that way, it doesn’t seem so bad. I mean, yeah, you could argue that it’s still expensive, but I feel the quality and flavor justifies the $ 22. But not the $ 32 it would be if you ordered it by slice. Yes yes, economies of scale or some such…
Make sure to place an order for your favorite whole pie in advance though. You don’t want to end up at the counter asking for that wonderful Bird Dog Buttermilk pie only to be told they’re out. There’s something really sad about getting excited to try something only to find out that you can’t because of your unpreparedness (it’s a word).

There’s so much to choose from here and it’s almost crippling to try and make a decision. On a day to day basis, they mostly have sweet pies but there’s a quiche of the day which I wish i would have tried while I was there! There are also two fridges with take home and bake pot pies and such.
I decided to try the s’more pie and it was… amazing? Fantastic? Messy. All of those things. The top is marshmallow, of course, and they microwave it shortly to get it all gooey. Over a small amount of time it began to consume my plate. The mess is worth it.
Plaza is a bit of a drive for me, but not long enough to keep me away. Thankfully for my bank account, Plaza parking is horrendous and just enough to keep me a healthy distance from this pie heaven on a daily basis.
