Photography creates a momentary but intense bond with others. I am often surprised at how much people reveal in front of the camera, knowingly or unknowingly. I am interested in the human condition and try to capture a little humanity in all of my images. Let me capture the best part of you.
History
Established in 2008.
As long as I can remember I have been captivated by photography. My father was an artist and collected big books of beautiful photography, I remember looking at them in awe for hours, wondering how these heart-wrenching images were taken and who was the one taking them. When I was in 6th grade I took a toy camera with me on a school camping trip to the Catalina Islands. When I returned and developed the film, my dad was blown away; he said that I have a gift and that perusing photography would be a reputable option for me. I didn’t take this exchange seriously until several years later when my real desire for photography materialized. I discovered the dark room. I fell in love with my secrete life in this red room, the sour smells of the developer, the feeling of magic at my fingertips and the moments in time that only I captured appearing before my eyes. Even though I have gone digital since my time in the dark room, I am still privileged to relive a part of that alchemy today.
