Specialties

I specialize in Deep Tissue, Sports and Neuromuscular Massage for humans, horses and hounds.

I hold four credentials: CMT — Clinical Massage Therapist; NMT — Neuromuscular Massage Therapist; ESMT — Equine Sports Massage Therapist; CSMT — Canine Sports Massage Therapist.

I am mobile and offer both table and chair massage to you, your office, your family, and your pets. I am an independent contractor serving Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties.

I absolutely love what I do… and working with horses and dogs has become my greatest passion.

History

Established in 1998.

I first studied massage at The Atlanta School of Massage in Atlanta, GA., graduating in 1998. In the first year I worked at 4 and 5-Star hotels, athletic events and conventions of national and international levels, concert venues, a yoga ashram, and in my home studio. For the next 14 years I toured with international bands/musical artists. I was a member of the production crew for multiple acts, being responsible for anything from wardrobing to personal assistance, tour coordination to dressing room decoration… but always included massage as part of my gig. It was an amazing experience but it left me empty, needing to reach back to my healing nature and to the desire to help those truly in need.

In 2012 I decided to come off the road and settle back into a grounded life, working with, and helping, people and animals. It turned into being the most interesting time of my life and has proven to be one of the best, and most important, decisions I’ve ever made.

Meet the Business Owner

Erika E.

Business Owner

I have always felt compelled to assist in any way possible to make the lives of others better and more complete. When I discovered the benefits of massage as an injured college athlete the bug was planted and I knew one day I’d work with athletes to help them heal.

Several years passed before the perfect opportunity came along and I was able to attend one of the best massage schools in the country. My life has never been the same!

Years later I learned from the best in the equine world at Equissage, studying sports massage for horses and dogs.

Giving massage heals me as much as it heals those I touch :)

I now live in beautiful Ojai, California…

I still do some work in the music world, and often massage visiting bands/crews. I even continue to work on the WWE wrestlers a few times each year as I have since 1999. I am also a one-on-one Instructional Aide at the local high school.

I massage all types of people and all kinds of animals…

Helping is what I do best :)
