History

Established in 2006.

Garrett Daun started Command Z in 2006 as a way to share his unique vision and perspective with others. Garrett noticed that he had learned a great deal of powerful techniques and paradigm-​shattering concepts from various teachers and systems of personal evolution and self development.

Riley Holland had studied with some of the same teachers without ever meeting Garrett until 2010, when a series of fortunate events led the two together. They spent 6 months in retreat to share and integrate each other’s knowledge and skills to hone and perfect them before releasing them to the public.

Riley and Garrett live on the edge in deep enjoyment of life. They practice: rock climbing, mountaineering, entrepreneurialism, professional teaching, workshop leading, many forms of alternative bodywork including massage, radical undoing, bodyweight calisthenics, bioenergetics, and more.

Business Owner

Garrett Daun grew up exploring the deep wild forests, lakes and rivers of Northern Minnesota.

He never quite fit in with social scenes, schools, groups or the standard way of life thrust upon him by society.

His early explorations included underground punk rock, activism, anarchism, yoga, Buddhism, meditation, rock climbing, mountaineering, martial arts, radical spirituality and religion and anything that challenged the status quo.

After many years of seeking, he realized something quite profound and mundane. Everything he was looking for was a lie.

He found the answers in himself.

He suddenly realized it was possible for certain individuals to find what he found, sometimes through a simple conversation. He discovered over a few painful years that it was his undeniable life’s work to assist these individuals with extreme personal transformations that seemed impossible only moments before.

He continues to hone his efforts and skills on a daily basis.
