My first review. Missed the train and was thirsty. I got the Mexican Mocha and my wife had an iced Chai Tea. Super nice proprietor and the coffee was excellent!

So glad that there is starting to become more java shacks like these at train stations. This one is pretty cheap and has most of the things you’d need to fuel your morning! The only thing I didn’t like was their protein shakes and latte. The protein shake is a knockoff that completely sucks, and their latte is watered down. I recommend you buy a coffee and make your own, you’ll appreciate that you took my advice;)

First time trying them out today. Very convenient having a coffee and snack store at OTC. I was running late leaving home, but got here just in time to grab a banana and a sugar free mocha with half & half. Great drink and fast service. Thanks

Java hut coffee company is real convenient for commuters making the transition from sprinter to coaster or visa versa for your coffee fix. They serve a good variety of coffees, teas and snacks. The staff is super nice and friendly. Adel works mornings and is the best so tip her and tell her«Rascals» sent ya.

The 6am Amtrak from LA pulled in a minute late causing me to just barely miss the eastbound Sprinter. Oh well. It’s not like I have a job or anything right now. Then I noticed this big ol’ metal trailer near the ticketing machines. Java Hut has been there a month or so now. They serve all fair trade coffees & some organic. Muffins, bagels, fruit and the like. Real friendly people working and friendly conversation made the time fly until the next train. Next time you’re down at the Oceanside Transit center stop by Java Hut. Soooo much better than what’s going on in that Burger King… I gave em 4-stars bc they didn’t have a toaster for my bagel.
