History

Established in 2014.

After working with a family as a nanny for 6 months, Chris started to help another family taking care of their daily tasks. For 2 hours a day, five days a week, Chris knocked things off their to-​do list. Taming the chaos of a couple preschoolers and two working parents was incredibly successful. The family responded so positively to Chris’s work that he decided to share the model with other families. Thus, The Drive-​In Butler was born.

Business Owner

Chris E. is an adventurer, writer, and conversationalist. Originally from Virginia, he moved to the Bay Area after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with two bachelor’s degrees, one in Philosophy and one in English. When Chris first arrived in California, he spent nine months working with students as a programs intern with the literary non-​profit 826 Valencia. His inspiring nature, strong mind, and charming personality help him to thrive in any endeavor he undertakes.

Creating the opportunities for people to enjoy their time and not be bogged down with stress is central to why he created The Drive-​In Butler.
