We’re very pleased with the bedset we just bought from Daniel. We wanted solid wood, rather than the crappy particle board that seems to compose all modern furniture, and he sold us a quality bed, dresser and nightstand from Modus Furniture International, a mid-​line Indian furniture maker. The price was quite cheap compared to what else we saw in extensive searching, and he included shipping and assembly to our place in Oakland. Only thing that made us uneasy was that he only included cash or check, but after we protested, he took card and it all worked out. We’d buy from him again.

Daniel is AWESOME! We ordered their infamous cement table and we absolutely LOVE it! He delivered the table and set it up at the exact time he stated.
I will definitely look their first as we continue to furnish our new home.

I love this place! They have modern furniture for a decent price. The showroom floor is really fancy and they really make their pieces look desirable. I bought a California King bedroom set for about 680 a couple years ago and everything is still in tact. Quality stuff for a good price. We’ll be redoing the living room soon, so I’ll be passing through here soon.

We have added many pieces from Daniel’s selection to our house, and look forward to many other purchases.

Almost all of my new home furnishings are from this store, and if my pockets were deeper, I’m sure I would have only bought more. I only intended to buy a coffee table but when I walked in, I was very much taken by the layout and inventory and ended up with much more.
Daniel is a one man shop and he’s incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and gives great advice if you request it. He picks out the showroom himself which I thought was very well selected, and you can also browse through catalogs for more. It’s a quiet atmosphere and he gives you the space and time to make your purchases carefully.
If you think the regular prices of Crate and Barrel /​Pottery Barn are decent, you will be very happy with the inventory here. The prices are either similar or cheaper, but I think the quality is much higher (eg. solid wood pieces). If you’re looking for inspiration, this is a great place to browse, but don’t expect steeply discounted prices.
Parking is easy here (street parking, and not too much traffic).
I did have some issues with delivery (took one week longer than his initial estimate) and I was delivered the wrong bookshelf. Daniel was just so friendly though that I can’t really bear to take a star away, since in the end, I have what I wanted and it wasn’t like I needed my bookshelf right away.
I’d be happy to come back every now and then and see what else is in stock.

We can’t say enough good things about Studio Home and Daniel. We stumbled upon this gem after going to Sweet Honey’s. We purchased a couch, coffee table and desk from Daniel. HE was extremely knowledge, had good style and new a lot about the products. 6 months later everything is still in great condition and we have no complaints. When we originally opened our couch, the manufacturer had left out a part, we called on Daniel after hours and he picked up on his cell phone and had the missing piece delivered the next day! Excellent customer service and great prices.

What a hidden gem! Studio Home is tucked away by the freeway but is a must visit for anyone looking to tastefully furnish their home without breaking bank.
The store carries great pieces (stuff you see at highend retailers like Crate & Barrel) at a fantastic price. Their style is modern and very stylish. Quality is good. Definitely items I’d proud to display in my apartment and showoff to my friends and family and even colleagues!
Their Indian rosewood dining set is a great deal (I’ve seen much higher prices elsewhere). So are many other pieces. There’s tons to choose from and they carry different types of wood if you are picky like me (Indian rosewood, birchwood, etc.) … Plus, the store owners are very knowledgeable and have great suggestions. A must visit if you are looking for high quality, modern furniture, and great service.

There were some pretty nice pieces in the showroom, but not a huge selection. Maybe I’m too used to giant showrooms like Ikea, but I’d like to see more when I’m furniture shopping. The guy at the desk in the back asked me if I needed any help and seemed to know details about the pieces like the back of his hand. A bit pricier than what I ultimately ended up with (not Ikea, by the way), but some nice pieces and worth a visit.

This is such a great place! They have a nice selection of furniture. We were looking for dining room chairs initially to replace the upholstered ones we have, because our cats did a number on them. We weren’t going to get chairs they would scratch up again… So, we thought maybe wood or acrylic chairs. The owner didn’t have the acrylic chairs in-​store, but was able to find exactly what were looking for in his catalog. He also made some suggestions on a dining table that would go with them. We ended up not only getting the chairs, but the dining room table he helped us select and a very nice love seat that we saw in the store. He also gave us a really good price on everything.
I love to support local stores and am so happy when I find a store that has exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable/​great price and provides great customer service all at the same time.

Studio Home is fantastic! My bf and I discovered it a couple of years ago when it was a Sitcom Outlet store. We loved the furniture then so we when we were ready to move in together, it was our logical first step for pieces for our new place. It has since changed owners and for the better. Daniel is awesome! He was so very patient with us as we looked around before settling on a round cherry dining room table with dark grey upholstered chairs. We wanted everything in there! Everything is priced very reasonably and delivery was $ 40. Daniel, himself, came to deliver and assemble our table on the sweltering day that we moved in. He did so quickly and efficiently. He knows what he’s doing! We love our table and have had so many memorable meals on it in the six months that we have had it. We’ll be on the hunt for a new sectional later this year and this is the first place we will be starting!

My wife and I have now made two purchases at Urban Studio. On our first visit we were looking for a dining table that was compact enough to fit in our kitchen and while we did not find what we were looking for in the showroom, Daniel was great in helping us find the right match by browsing some catalogs together with him. Daniel and his team delivered and assembled the table and chairs for us and the whole process was super stress free.
On our second trip we were looking for a chest drawer, with our previous experience with Daniel we did not even bother looking elsewhere. Again, we did not find what we were looking for in the showroom but just like last time Daniel helped us find the right fit by browsing the catalogs, we ended up buying a chest and and got
a great deal on two matching night stands.
Daniel is great to work with and I highly recommend if you do not find what you are looking for in the showroom to check in with Daniel and get some suggestions on more options from the catalogs.
Studio Home has become our go to spot for home furnishings!

My wife and I bought our dinning room furniture here. Daniel had exactly the kind of set we were looking for, the price was right, and he made delivery easy.

Checked out this place after visiting several furniture stores in the area (both new and used). This place turned out to be a hidden gem!!! Daniel has very discerning tastes, suitable to a wide variety of styles (things you’d find at crate and barrel, as well as urban outfitters, MCM (ish) pieces, rustic, contemporary, you name it, and of course he has the catalog stuff everyone else in the area is carrying). I think it helps that the owner is relatively young. He has a good eye. In a previous life, he did furniture sourcing, and I think the quality of the pieces show this.
This is where I finally ended up purchasing my dining table for only $ 259 (only place I’ve been able to make such a decisive move on such a large purchase). We didn’t like the chairs that came with the table, and Daniel even gave us ideas on where to look, as well as offering to help us find something. He also personally delivered and assembled exactly as promised in a very timely fashion.

I don’t write reviews, but I created an account just to review Studio Home. This place is awesome! Daniel and his wife are VERY helpful. I came in just browsing — I was in need of a new couch, and after going to several places that day, I didn’t expect to find anything. But I found a beautiful piece here and in my price range! Daniel answered all my questions and made purchasing a breeze. I purchased on a Sunday and Daniel delivered and assembled the couch on Tuesday (even though he was short staffed he still made sure I got the couch when he promised!) I will definitely come back to Studio Home first when I’m looking to buy another piece of furniture.

Stumbled upon this place on my way back from Poor Honey’s. Oh my goodness, what a find!
Daniel sells some amazing pieces of furniture at a very affordable price. This is the same stuff you’ll find in Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn and other high end shops for literally a fraction of the price.
We bought a gorgeous dining table here for $ 340 — mind you, this table sells at other stores for between $ 1000 — $ 1200. Daniel personally delivered the table and set up it for us, attaching the legs.
Amazing businessman and wonderful small business to support! I will be back.

Was disappointed that the store that occupied the space before had closed (sitcom furniture). But I’m pleased that the store has reopened as STUDIO HOME. Fantastic value, great contemporary finds, EXCELLENT customer service in Daniel the owner. Made a purchase, changed my mind, changed it again and all handled with a smile & courtesy. Will definitely return for more. If you’re looking for great pieces to add to your contemporary home décor, Studio Home is your place.
