Paradise Moving And Storage

I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews for Paradise Moving and Storage. My fiancé and I have worked with Robert on two projects, which entailed in town, out of town and storage moving. Regardless of the task at hand, Robert, basie and the rest of the team are prompt, organized and efficient, yet careful with your belongings.
In addition to being great at what they do, Robert and his team are also fun, nice and easy to get along with, which is a huge help when you’re in the stressful process of moving. Couldn’t recommend these guys more highly.

I was totally impressed with the service that Rob provided — at a fraction of cost I was expecting. The business owner was very professional and really seemed like he cared about my experience, not to mention he took amazing care of my furniture. He made sure everything was wrapped carefully to protect from scratching and was timely, considerate and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Rob and love that he is a small local business. Also, the art on his truck is gorgeous, just a plus.

Paradise can move anything large or small… need a piano moved, call them! Robert is helpful, smart, and kind. When he came to pick up my load I saw him help an elderly lady get her walker in her car. He is very experienced and knows how to properly move objects. Really good movers are hard to find… call him and you will be another satisfied customer.

I have had nothing but a great experience with paradise movers and Robert. I have used him twice now and I would recommend them to anyone in the Bay Area! Robert shows up on time, if not early, and has all of the equipment and room to handle any type of belonging. He is a no nonsense guy and has extremely fair pricing compared to other movers that quoted me for my first move. I Didn’t even look around for my second move, Paradise was the obvious choice!

We recently had a wonderful move with Paradise Moving and Storage. Robert was great. He was friendly, communicated clearly, and set up the appointment with short notice. He and Bessie came to our home on time with all the materials needed for the move. They were careful with our furniture and moved our belongings quickly. The hardest working movers I have ever worked with. I highly recommend them for your next move. Also, the personal touch of using a local business also made a big difference.

Robert and Leo were great, by far the most professional and efficient movers we’ve ever had. They did a fantastic job and the price was amazing. We used them just to load a U-​Pack truck, and for a 1 bedroom apartment they were done in 2 hours. They were both very polite, respectful and good humored. Can’t recommend them enough.

Robert was super responsive, and communicated thoroughly throughout the move through email and mobile phone. He was available on my preferred moving date and was promptly at my loft the day of the move. My loft in Oakland has an unconventional, narrow spiral stair that offered some challenges, Robert and his friend had no problem negotiating the twists and turns and went the extra mile in protecting my more valuable furniture on my move to a neighborhood near the Oakland Zoo. He is super friendly and has a great outlook, I would heartily recommend him and his company. They work hard, efficiently and carefully. An A+ experience. Very fairly priced too. Thank you Robert.

Robert made my move easy and painless. I gave him a call the week of my move and Robert was gracious and put me on the schedule right away. Their prices were very competitive and they even called a day ahead to confirm. We had our furniture lined up and ready to go and when I wanted to throw a few extra things on the truck Robert and his crew didn’t mind. I really appreciate their flexibility. They were very careful and asked questions. They worked quick, but didn’t rush. Also didn’t bat an eye at our third floor move in. I’ll be sure to call them for our next move!

I had to move asap due to a mold infestation in my apartment and had never hired movers before, I decided to go with Paradise Movers after calling around and am very glad I did! I went with them because they are a small, local business who had the smallest fuel charge of any movers I called, in addition I mentioned a Unilocal deal and Robert (the owner) honored the discount and then some! I had requested 2 movers and he brought 3! They got the job done super quickly, I hadn’t even fully finished packing up and they helped me with that too! The three movers were friendly, down to earth, hard workers. In addition to the extra mover and the Unilocal discount, Robert didn’t charge me for a few boxes of his either. He definitely hooked it up! If I ever hire movers again, I’ll go with them for sure! Highly recommend!

My experience with Paradise Moving was great. Robert was very professional, and called early the day of my move to confirm exact timing since I was the second move of the day. He had moving blankets and wrap to protect my furniture as well as wardrobe boxes, dollies, and other supplies. His truck was clean (and the paradise theme was awesome!)
I am happy to say nothing got damaged and all my items arrived safe and sound from the Oakland Hills to Alameda.
Robert was very patient and even helped take apart rather complicated bed frames and put them back together upon arrival, which really helped me out!
His pricing was very reasonable compared to other movers I called, and there were no hidden charges or extra fees. I would definitely recommend Paradise Moving and will be using them for my next move.

There are few if any times when moving is actually easy or painless but my move last month with Paradise Moving and Storage was exactly that. I heard of Paradise Moving and Storage through word of mouth and easily found their information online. I called a few days before I HAD to be out of my place and not only did I receive great customer service over the phone but was booked for moving the day I needed it. The day of my move, Paradise Moving and storage called ahead to let me know they’d be there at the scheduled time and weren’t even a minute late. My move took only a few hours, all the movers were kind and courteous and gave no brush off/​attitude when I gave instruction or expressed concern about the move of an expensive or sentimental item. I had been living on the second floor of a duplex and had multiple pieces of large furniture moved and nothing was damaged or broken including walls or doorjambs when moving items out. Not only was the service and experience with Paradise Moving and Storage seamless and easy but it was affordable. I wasn’t over charged, duped or forced to pay any hidden fee at the end of my move and I have no doubt when I move again from my temporary living situation at the end of next month that I will use Paradise Moving and Storage. I highly encourage and recommend anyone who wants an affordable and easy move to do the same!

I’ll start off by saying that we think of ourselves as curators.
Our collection of furniture and art took years to gather and we take it very seriously.
Rob is fantastic, he helped us move our home to a new location by lake merritt.
We had several very and I mean VERY fragile antiques that were of top priority.
Along with these were furniture I built by hand and several pieces of art that we are extremely attached to.
He was understanding with our (sometimes obsessive) attention to detail.
Everything was packaged and delivered without a scratch on it.
(We have a lot of stuff and a super small foyer so it could have gotten weird)
Much better than our last move,
My partner and I can’t thank rob and his team enough.
He managed to make a stressful process easy, which is all we could ask for.

I have no words to express how happy I am with their service! I recently moved apartments and had a week gap between when my lease ended and I when could move into my new place. Robert and his team, aside from being on time, were the nicest movers I have ever worked with. They all seemed to love there jobs as could be seen with the smiles on their faces. They showed care to all my belongings and packed everything carefully. EVERYTHING WAS TRANSPORTED UNDAMAGED!!! It was my first time ever that everything worked out perfectly.

What can I say about Rob and his crew? Oh yeah they’re awesome and moved me into my new space in West Oakland in no time. They were super professional and very time efficient (as Im a pretty busy guy and don’t have time for BS.) This was my first time hiring movers and I will definitely be hiring them again for my next move.

Robert and his crew were professional and presentable. Most movers I use come with a team I’m nervous about having around my belongings. That finally wasn’t the case with Paradise Movers. It’s obvious that Robert takes pride in his work and expects that of his crew. They were efficient and careful. I woule definitely recommend utilizing them if you’re in need in or around The Bay area.

I needed to move my two bed apt to a new place in Oakland. I called around a few moving companies and didn’t get a great vibe for any of the other guys until I finally found paradise moving.
I chatted with Robert. He seemed to be very experienced

First time ever hiring a moving crew and Robert made it a very good experience. They came Thursday afternoon (called in early, arrived early) and helped me with a move from Piedmont to Berkley. Robert and his three man crew were fast, friendly, experienced and seemed like cool folks overall. I would definitely recommend them if you need a moving service in the Bay Area. Also two thumbs up to the cool looking moving truck!

Robert is awesome. He completely put my mind at rest and I knew from the get go that my belongings were in safe hands… I have moved around the Bay Area many times and have lots of experience with movers but Paradise Moving is for sure the best of them all. Everything went quickly. The guys were early and called in advance. The workers were polite, professional and hard working but most of all the were friendly and happy in their work. I have experienced movers in the past who have had bad attitudes but not the lads at Paradise Moving. They even managed to get my grandmother’s antique dresser up four flights of twisting staircase. I thought it was too heavy but the guys made it look easy. I would highly recommend them!
