We design and build inspiring spaces in the sky — aka tree houses. We are professional treehouse architects, serving clients throughout the U.S. and internationally, bringing visions of incredible spaces to life.

We work closely with you to learn of your vision, starting with a free site visit and initial sketch, followed by design approval and complete build out. Smaller projects take as little as 4 weeks from start to finish, where we ensure all regulations are followed, with our expert engineers reviewing all drawings and insurance requirements.

As seen on Treehouse Masters Season 3, our premium tree houses provide you with a unique space, whether an area for hosting gatherings or for a quiet place to retreat to.

History

Established in 2006.

o2 Treehouse began with Dustin’s thesis project during his education at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. His thesis design drew inspiration from Buckminster Fuller’s work and helped Dustin earn his BFA in Furniture Design. This first treehouse caught the attention and captured the imaginations of many.

The name o2Treehouse was chosen because it highlights the symbiotic relationship between humans and trees, which process carbon dioxide to provide us with oxygen (o2).

Business Owner

While studying furniture and design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, I was tasked with identifying a unique final thesis project. The idea of premium and exemplary tree houses was born and ultimately led to my full career. I have a passion for inspiring others and love bringing client’s ideas to life. Each project is different, presenting different obstacles as well as exemplary results.

Alongside my passion for designing and building tree houses, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, including camping and mountain biking.
