DO NOT USE!!! NO Stars for this CRAPPY company if I had the option. I also purchase Amazon Local for a round-​trip Home/​Airport/​Home reservation. I even had to send them a few prior updates due to Airline cancellations and flight time changes. My 50^th B-​day week trip was very important and I wanted to get a sedan service instead of a cab/​shuttle. Lucy Limo emailed/​texted confirmation of my updated times for my pick up. I woke up early and was expecting LL to be at my place at 4:05am for a 6:05am flight. No call/​no show. I texted them and even called their number and to this date haven’t received a response. I had to scramble and called a cab at the last minute and got to SFO in time for my flight. So far, my trip is wonderful despite the rocky start. I called Amazon to complain and they immediately credited my account and even gave me a credit for the money I had to pay the cab over what LL’s voucher cost me. This company should be out of business soon if they continue to piss off people like this. DO NOT USE!!! Save yourself the grief and use a reputable company.

The other reviews are completely accurate. This company is completely unreliable. Does not show up after confirming appointments. Will leave you stranded. And when you call to say — I have a confirmed pick up, where are you? They give flimsy excuses and tell you they are somewhere to far away to come get you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are a complete waste of your money. And if you really need to get somewhere, like to catch a flight, you will miss it! Don’t use them!
I am going to look up the information in San Francisco for which government office gives them a livery license and file an official complaint. They are really that bad.

Like others who have posted, I have experienced nothing but frustration with this company. I purchased an Amazon local voucher nearly 1 year ago for a ride to or from SFO, and on 3 separate occasions the company has ignored my request until after my requested dates or confirmed by booking and then failed to show up. I am beginning to feel like Charlie Brown going for that elusive football. ..

THIS COMPANY IS UNRELIABLE!!! ZERO STARS FOR A NO SHOW! DO NOT DEPEND ON THEM. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION. As if getting to the airport for an international flight wasn’t stressful enough. I had a 6AM pickup and they FLAT OUT DID NOT SHOW AND DID NOT CALL. I had an email confirmation but my gut was telling me this company was sketchy. I called them at least 20 times (510−927−1661) that morning while I was waiting outside and got no answer. My last message to them was your a half hour late with no phone call I’M NOW CALLING A CAB! I am contacting Amazon Local to get my money back. Save yourself some stress and NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

These guys are literally the worst. They are so bad they actually compelled me to create a Unilocal account and write a review.
Their online reservation system is a crappy Wordpress form that doesn’t really inspire confidence your reservation went though.
So when you call them to confirm, they don’t pick up the Google Voice (!) phone number listed on their website.
When you arrive at the airport at the scheduled time, crappy confirmation email in hand, they’re no-​shows.
And when you email to be like, WTF, they don’t respond.
Literally. The. Worst.

I used the Amazon Local deal and requested a limo to pick me up at SFO on a Monday morning at midnight. I made the reservation on-​line earlier in the day and received an email confirmation. When I landed I that night I called their number to confirm they would be waiting for me (510−927−1661) and there was no answer. I made several attempts. I gave up and had to take an expensive taxi ride back to the city. I tried to call them again later that day to find out what happened and there was still no answer. I never did get a callback. I would give them zero starts if I could as I think standing up a customer in the middle of the night is pretty much the worst thing a limo driver can do to a customer that doesn’t involve criminal activity.
I wish I have checked Unilocal before getting the vouchers because it looks like the general consensus is that they stink.

I got the same Amazon Local deal as everyone else, and tried to use it the following day for an early morning trip to SFO. I was pretty worried, given the other reviews, that they wouldn’t show up, so I called to confirm the night before and signed up with Über just in case I needed a back-​up.
The guy called me about thirty minutes before he was supposed to be there to tell me that his earlier pick-​up was late and to ask if I could delay my departure. I said no, that I had already cut it really close, so he said we would just have to cancel. Does he only have one car on the road at a time or something? In the end, my mensch of a boyfriend woke up to drive me instead (I still owe him one for that), so I made my flight without having to shuck out for Über, but it was a huge inconvenience to us both and caused a great deal of unnecessary panic – i.e, exactly what I had tried to avoid by springing for a car service.
I’ll give Lucy Limo an extra star for at least telling me first, unlike what happened to some of the other reviewers, but that’s still pretty shitty news to get less than an hour before you need to be at the airport. Totally defeats the point of booking the ride in the first place.
UPDATE: AmazonLocal refunded my money immediately, no questions asked. If you have a voucher, I highly recommend you do the same.

I picked up the same Amazon Local deal other Unilocalers are reviewing here. I agree, their customer service is pretty bad.
I asked them 2 questions in an email. One random question about the voucher and a second for a traffic estimation on the time I was booking my trip, seeing as their drivers make the trip all the time and could reasonably estimate travel time. They only answered my first question so I had to re-​email them. They came back with a terse «depends on traffic» and when I again asked for clarification they never got back to me. I cancelled the ride because of other Unilocal reviews warning about the driver not showing and because of my experience with their poor customer service. On the upside, Amazon cancelled those bad boys in 30 seconds and refunded my moolah!

I bought 2 voucher via AmazonLocal for pick up and drop off at SFO. I thought, great. I have a trip coming up soon, now I don’t have to worry about how I was going to get to SFO.
I booked the use of them 3 weeks in advance. 50 minutes prior to my pick up time I received the following text from the driver.
«Sorry I had accident last week and my car will be done tomorrow. So I my not pick you up today you can use the voucher for next time.»
How unprofessional. No call, just a simple text. No follow up about picking me up from SFO upon my return.
Fortunately I was able to recoup my money from AmazonLocal.

Either 1) rude or 2) braindead customer service. I don’t live within the radius so I needed a refund on an Amazon voucher. Call Amazon, they were super friendly about refunding.

Zero stars if I could.
The guy confirmed the pickup so I know he knew where to pick us up and the time. He also knew that we were heading to the airport. You’d think he would at least call to say he couldn’t make the pickup. Instead he left some lame text HOURS after with some lame excuse about the car breaking down. I could forgive the car breaking down if he called promptly to at least let us know that he wasn’t going to make it.
We had to scramble to find a cab and had to rush through security.
Amazon was great about refunding my money. If anyone has certificates from amazon, I would highly recommend getting your money back and not taking a risk with this company. It’s not worth almost missing a flight over a good deal.

I bought an amazon local deal for limo service to SFO. Scheduled it well in advance. The limo never showed up. When i called them, they said the limo driver was sick and couldn’t make it. Why didn’t they call me to let me know in advance?
I had to get an über car instead, but the delay made me almost miss my flight. These guys suck.
They are also refusing to refund me.

I was somewhat skeptical of using an East Bay limo service to get me to and from SFO for an international trip. I saw this great Amazon Local Deal and decided to give it a try. My expectations were exceeded in the service that Arif provided. He was prompt, professional and met the appointments. We stayed in touch by email, text messaging and mobile phone. The transportation was on time each way which alleviated the travel anxieties of spending the next 23 hours to get to our destination. One less thing to worry about. On the way home in arrivals we got held up in Customs for almost two hours and Arif was understanding and just told us to call him when we had our luggage. Did that and he showed up in 10 minutes. I will continue to use Lucy Limo again, it sure beats the other shuttle and cab services. Thanks Arif!
