I have had MANY doctors in the 19 years since having to deal with a back injury that has disabeled me since 6÷2÷1998. I can tell you there are ALOT of quacks im here now because of bad doctors. The absoutl one thing i can say is Dr Johnson is one of the best doctors i have had and i can say there has been way to many. He cares he always does whats best for me and i am very GREATFULL to have him as my pain management

Been a patient here for several months. Scheduled a morning appointment, however, the brunette in the office will not open the door despite the fact she can fully see me and I’m actively trying to get in? Had to call the main office for help? Notwithstanding an issue with the door, employees should at least make an effort?

Dr. Matthew Johnson has been amazing over the short time that I have been a patient of his. I was diagnosed with Ehler’s Danlos’s Syndrome about two years, and have been suffering from incessant abdominal pain due to complications from a surgery. I had seen three doctors previous from different pain clinics with no success, and was only treated as though it was all in my head. The very day that I came in to see Dr. Johnson, he came up with a plan to manage my day to day pain, the acute pain, and a way to abolish the abdominal discomfort. He has been the first doctor in forever to treat me as an actual person and come up with a plan unique to my needs. My pain has improved by over 50%, and he is always open to compromise if I have a concern.
My only complaint about IPM is that it is atrociously disorganized. Doctors are frequently overbooked, and appointments and medications are at times incorrectly documented. And if you need to call and leave a message for your doctor, they will never receive it. And be cautious when you are offered an appointment with one of the nurse practitioners instead of a doctor, as they are quite rude and dismissive. (I have seen three)
This pain center has areas that could be improved, but the doctors are great.

Nobody in waiting room, no one behind reception counter for over 10 min. Began to wonder if the place was being robbed! Oh no it’s the lack of customer service… Lester left and so did the joy :-(. Wherever he went I’m sure the clients love him. Now, about the new assistant when he finally emerged from the freakishly quiet back room and showed me to the exam room closed the door and started calling me «Darling»… Uh oh STRANGER DANGER. Where the hell is that help button when you need it?!?

Stay away. You will have more pain if you go here. I know first hand. Get another referral from your Doctor.
