History

Established in 2014.

Kenna Toney is a Kemetic Yoga Instructor and Holistic Wellness Practitioner trained in many healing traditions from around the globe.

After graduating from Laney College in Oakland, California Ms. Toney went on to California State University, Sacramento where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government as well as one in Sociology. Following service as a legislative aide for the California State Legislature and as a council aide to Oakland City Council, Kenna moved to Atlanta, Georgia in order to attend grad school at Clark Atlanta University. While in Atlanta Ms. Toney worked for the Atlanta City Council and taught both history & political science on the collegiate level. After earning an M.A. in both History and Political Science she returned to her home state of California only to be diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It was at this point that Kenna decided to return to her Reiki Master teacher for alternatives to Western Medicine.

Since being attuned as a Master Reiki Practitioner in 2004 Ms. Toney has continued her holistic education and training in several different modalities and with many Master Teachers. She unifies a range of natural, holistic modalities to help people achieve optimal health and well being;

Kenna’s mission is to restore embodied wisdom, inspire nourishing interactions and empower each person’s innate potential through the alchemy of plant medicine, hands on healing, movement and energy work.
