History

Established in 1979.

Graphic Traffic has printed tshirts and other promotional items for all the Supercuts franchises, and all Noah’s bagel outlets. Other notable clients have included A.C.T. Theatre, Berkeley Rep. Theatre Company, East Bay Municipal Park District, Chiron Corp, Kaiser Permanente, and countless others.

Manager

I studied advertising, marketing and journalism at Northwestern University near Chicago IL and moved out west to expand the design department of BAM magazine in 1977. We promoted rock bands and event through the creation of promo kits, buttons, stickers and Tshirts. eventually taking over the helm at the T-​Shirt Connection in Berkeley in 1979. Later, after finding an investor to take over the assets of Graphic Traffic Custom Screen Printing of San Francisco, we moved the company over to the East Bay.

We went through Graphic Traffic to get several hundred T-​shirts printed for a yearly school fundraiser. We got several quotes and Marty’s pricing was the best by far. Shirt quality is excellent — we got white, and it was not see-​through at all. Best of all, the service was outstanding. Marty was very patient and thorough walking us through the process and answering all our questions (and there were a lot!).
The T-​shirts were a hit and we will be back next year for sure!

My boyfriend was hosting a basketball camp and he needed shirts made for the campers as well as some for his older more advanced players to advertise. I found this place randomly through my job and good thing I did!
We worked with Marty and he was very professional yet fun to work with. He gives his honest opinion and input with our design and their prices were reasonable. We originally were only going to order a few shirts but our big order fell through with an online company.
We had to change our order from 25 shirts to 125 shirts which we needed in less than a week. Marty worked with us and we were able to get our shirts in a timely matter. We will definitely go through Graphic Traffic again for any future orders!

I love these guys. I would have given all 5 stars but they lost a couple of extra shirts that had special requirements. Even so, I don’t think that happens very often and Marty is so friendly, who cares! I love the shop too. You know this is what they love to do.

Everyone here is a 5-​star professional. From the head guy, Marty on over to Kam the office manager, I received prompt and reliable service. They were able to get 250 t-​shirts for my church to me in a matter of a few days. Quality t-​shirts! You hear that people??? A. Few. Days. This will be my go-​to place for all of my print screening needs. They quoted me a date and they were ready early. Say what? Love this place. Prompt and reliable, reasonable prices… what more can a girl ask for?

Been dealing with Marty at Graphic Traffic for years; and everything he’s produced for the Native American Student Groups at UC Berkeley has been ahead of schedule and immaculate in every way. GT remains our official «go-​to-​guy» for our t-​shirts, hoodies, aprons, pens, pencils, draw-​string backpacks, hats, flash drives with our Cal Native Students LOGO… Highly recommended!!!

Marty and Sam are beyond helpful, always give great feedback in terms of artistice advice (color and style choices, how different brands fit, etc) and are the fastest in terms of service. Brilliant. We had a design from our graphic artist and they gave us feedback on it — since they are the experts on how things print. They were right! And they did the job as a rush with no muss, no fuss.

Update (2 months after initial review): I placed a second order of t-​shirts with similar design requirements as before… this time, a much higher quantity: nearly 500 shirts. The job was handled attentively and promptly as I’d been led to expect from my first experience. I’ll continue to recommend this place.

These guys handled a run of about 150 t-​shirts for me. The job was a 3 color design on front/​back of black shirts in 5 different sizes, where I designed and supplied Illustrator files. They took it from there and fulfilled the job with zero hassle and excellent customer service.
They were on track to finish the goods one day early, but an internal QA check during production revealed a flub that they corrected straight away without question and hesitation. I didn’t even know about that problem until the job was done and delivered on the promise date.
Relative to their local/​regional competitors, their pricing is very competitive.
