History

Established in 2007.

I joined RE/​MAX right as the real estate market came to a halt. I educated myself on the trends of the time which mainly included assisting sellers with avoiding foreclosure by doing short sales with their lenders. I’ve been teamed up with top local agent Kyra Pych since 2008, and I’m the marketing guru for our team. I’m constantly learning new ways to expand our marketing efforts to maximize our listings’ exposure to potential buyers. My other passionate focus is the First Time Buyer — educating them on the home buying process and financial planning that is necessary to make the successful leap from renting into homeownership.

I’ve never regretted my decision to leave medical school to pursue my dream of becoming a successful Realtor. In the spring of 2007 I was faced with a world of possibilities, but I fell into a job as the assistant to a successful developer’s agent in Chicago’s West Loop, Bucktown & Lincoln Park neighborhoods, selling high-​end new construction condos.

After about 6 months of staffing the model units & helping buyers with their tile selections, I felt drawn to transition into the wider world of residential real estate, and RE/​MAX In The Village was a natural choice for me, located in the heart of Oak Park’s historic homes. I teamed up with Kyra Pych, one of the area’s most successful & respected Realtors, and I learned the business from the ground up and survived the market crash that occurred about a week after I joined RE/​MAX.

Real estate is my passion, and I consider myself an advisor rather than a salesperson.
