Lake Street Family Physicians

I never write Unilocal reviews but recently used Unilocal to choose a dentist so now I figure I must pay it forward.
This place is GREAT. There is almost no wait – they are very prompt. They have a great computer system that communicates everything to everyone so everyone knows what is going on with your history and needs. I see Dr. Paul Kungl and he is honestly the best doctor I have ever had. He is a kind and attentive listener and knows what he is talking about. He has never steered me in the wrong direction and is very honest.

I have a little bit of ‘White Coat Syndrome’ and generally avoid getting my yearly examination. I’m 30 years old and never had a primary care doctor because I never found one I liked enough to come back to, until now. I’ve only been here once, but I think I’m going to stick around. I really love Dr. Chan! She’s bubbly and social and totally puts me at ease (maybe because she doesn’t wear a white coat). I’m beyond impressed with the clinic overall. Bonus: the wait time is almost non-​existent!

So Far Impressed! since moving further away from my DR. I’ve got to keep it real here. Traveling 40 minutes just to see someone isn’t ideal and I honestly need to establish myself with a DR’s Office that knows me.
After I had googled the reviews for this office, I called to get an appointment. To my surprised I was able to see the Physcian Assistant who was seriously Amazing! the same day. I knew that I was going through some sort of imbalance and Candice took notes of EVERYTHING… Very knowledgable about medicine and although I haven’t met the DR who I will follow up with, I think I’ve found a great office to come to and perhaps drag the other 3 in my family here as well.
The Staff is very friendly and the office appears to be quite large and I didn’t have to wait but maybe 10 minutes pass my appointment time
