Stern Debra & Associates

I have really hesitated about writing a review regarding my experience with couples counseling but here I go.
We sought out Debra Stern and Associates (DSA) during a rough patch early on in our marriage. It was tough for both of us to accept the idea of counseling but we were both motivated to try. I’m glad we did.
DSA really knows what they are doing. Just entering the welcoming environment was amazing. We have learned communication skills that we use on a daily basis.
We both learned to listen better and also listen to ourselves. There is empathy, listening, and realistic guidance with DSA. Even the books recommended were always very helpful
They do accept insurance and there are evening hours as well. There is an oak park office as well as a Lakeview office. We were clients for 2 years before we moved away.
At the oak park location, there are garages as well as street parking in the area. DSA are very good about getting back to you about available appointments.
I highly recommend DSA to folks who are single, married, dating, engaged or need counseling of any kind.
You will never find anyone more dedicated than DSA.
