BUYER BEWARE – OVERPRICED!
I had a new vanity for my downstairs half-​bath, but it didn’t line up perfectly with the old drain pipe. It was a simple sink with a cabinet underneath, but I needed the plumbing hooked up. Called Assured and two guys came out and quoted me $ 450 for the job! (That’s what the vanity cost!) They said it was «extensive» and talked to each other about the different things they would need to do. They were going to work on it together! I called around and was quoted less than half that, and no one else mentioned needing more than one person. I finally went with a different plumber in the same town who only charged me $ 225. He cut and refitted a new pipe to line up perfectly – exactly what the two Assured guys said they would do.
I notice the other positive reviews mention Eric, the owner. He should know the younger guys he sends out are ruining his business. Smart consumers always check prices and know when they’re being taken for a ride. If you do go with them, make sure you get other quotes first. You can’t trust their estimates!

«Standard» prices? Then why did FOUR other plumbers quote me at least $ 150 less than your guys?

Assured Services has been utilized for the past 9 years at Webster Emergency Medical Services in Webster, MA. During this past winter our gas furnace failed, carbon monoxide was distributed throughout the building, and the furnace had to be taken off line. The outside temperature was 0 degrees, and paramedics are stationed inside the building for 24 hours.
The owner Eric arrived at our station at 8 P.M. and by midnight they had a crew of 4 plumbers replacing the entire boiler and air handling units. By 8 A.M. we had heat and a brand new boiler.
We cannot say enough about the quality of the workmanship, the professionalism, and the reasonable rates charged. There expeditious service was so greatly appreciated by our entire staff.

Great service! Fair pricing. They helped us get lead waste piping out of our 1^st fl bathroom and a hundred yr old cast iron hip bath out of our 2^nd fl bathroom. Not easy.

When the first cold spell hits, all HVAC folks are jammed. In a panic in losing heat, I called around to about 10 companies, after first looking at Unilocal and Google reviews too. When I called Assured, Eric picked right up, was polite and friendly, scheduled a time for the next day (when everyone else was quoting 2 – 6 days to get here), arrived on time, was helpful and fixed the problem. When it’s time to service the boiler again Eric and Assured will certainly be my next call!

I have no idea whats going on with the last 2 reviews but i have never had any problems with there service. Eric (Owner) is always professional and courteous he tells you the price up front. they are there on time and get the job done right the first time. There honest and are on call 24 hours a day when you need them? So I definitely recommend there services to everyone. I am pretty sure he has been in business for about 20 years and I have never heard anything bad about them… Try them out. i know I’m happy with there services. and there not a RIP OFF!!!

I have had ongoing issues since Sept. 2012 when I contacted Assured about a problem with water running in my toilet and they told me that I had a cracked pipe to my well and needed a new pump, charged me $ 4000. I learned neither was true. They would not negotiate with me or acknowledge their wrongdoing. 14 months later and five visits to small claims court (Assured never showed up for court and was found in contemp) I continue to run out of water because they installed an improper pump for my well. The toilet issue was never addressed and i had to contact another plumber to correct that problem. ($ 100). Complete disaster. Incompetent and shifty.

I had an issue where the employee from Assurred Service Plumbing not only couldn’t do the job but he also damaged my property. I called the company several times to get compensated for the damage but the the lady on the phone gave me teh runaround.
My next step was to email them at
. I emailed them on 5÷21÷13 and 6÷5÷13 and got no answer.
Then I decided to email
. This is the email for Eric Chaffee, who is the owner. I emailed him on 6÷6÷13, 6÷7÷13 and 6÷24÷13 and never heard back from him.
So much for the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee!
