Wee-Ping

I guess it takes all kinds! We’ve been buying from, and selling to, Wee-​Ping for more than ten years. Every time we’ve been in for a visit we’ve found the owner personally helping someone select something to buy. While our garments — mostly slips, pajamas, and robes — are on sale there at the high end ($ 100 to $ 200 as the previous reviewer states correctly), Wee-​Ping caters to all price range shoppers. If you are in Northampton, a «college town», and want to find a high-​end lingerie and sleepwear shop — a bit above the average college town pickings — do stop by and check the place out for yourself.

WOW is this a joke. seriously, on SO many levels. this place is having an identity crisis. it seems to be trying (and not succeeding) to offer nice expensive looking slinky robes and lingerie, which you see throughout the majority of the store. but they also have some cheap, poor quality sex-​toy stuff and really tacky fredricks-​of-​hollywood type of lingerie, yet even cheaper and not even sexy (not that FH is actually sexy, but some might argue that it does at least have the cheap-​dumb-​slut sex appeal) I can’t imagine who in their right mind would by any of this stuff thinking it made them sexier, that is unless they are an old granny crack whore who’s got big plans to rub up on some trucker near the whately diner or on a meth addict who’s partially blind anyway.
Okay, and here’s the other thing. It seemed pretty damn obvious that the bras they sold might as well have been from the «fancy» undergarment section at KMart or walmart. target has better quality bras, both basic and flirty, and for decent prices.
so these cheap weird bras, I’d thought they were at most $ 20 bucks, but then realized this place is overpriced, so I reguess they’re selling them for victoria secret prices around $ 30-​$ 35. NO. these ugly ass, made-​for-​tricks bras ranged from $ 50 to $ 80. WHY!!! who would be that dumb and rich to purchase this crap?!! oh yeah, and their robes, some of their basic slinky ones were almost cute, but NOT worth $ 100-​$ 200+. these are NOT high quality fine garments, so why the price?
so WHO buys this stuff/​how does this place stay in business? during my several years back east, i NEVER saw someone or heard anyone say they bought something here. so my only guess is that this is not their real business, they probably are doing something illegit on the side and this is their front. what is this, «weeds» on showtime?
christ i’m so glad i don’t live here anymore. at least I can thank these horrible shopping venues for the fact that I never went shopping and thus saved tons of money.
