When I moved to Northampton I was bummed there was no pet store within walking distance. And now there is! Not only that, but it is absolutely wonderful. The store looks beautiful, carries high quality products with very educated staff. I’ve purchased two treats for my pooch and she would agree with my review 100%.

Very unique dog «boutique» shop, not a chain store. The toys really are more durable, just as promised. Also they have fresh baked treats that my dog absolutely loved. Very reasonable prices for quality merchandise, outstanding customer service and a really fun shopping experience. I was given 2 coupons for 20% off future online purchases. If you have a dog this place is a must see!!!

This place has so many different things to choose from that you really can’t find anywhere else. Our pup loved being there and the staff was so super nice to him and gave him a free treat. They have these plush dog toys that are very sturdy. Our dog usually rips his plush toys apart in minutes and this toy hasn’t even been phased by his chewing! We got the alligator, but there are many more to choose from. We also purchased a new collar which looks great on our little guy! I totally recommend this place!

Quality products, knowledgable staff and unique items! If you want to pick up something special for your fur legged friend you must stop by. They make custom collars with bow ties that are nice quality and unique. Definitely worth the trip

The Grateful Hound has the best play toys! Having a three-​year-​old German Shepherd believe me you go through lots of toys. But the best toys that we have found are in this cute little shop in downtown Savannah. If you have a dog that loves to play tug or catch frisbee then this is the place for you. An extra bonus, the staff is always so helpful and friendly.

The owner of The Grateful Hound is so nice and helpful. I really enjoyed buying treats to take back home to my golden, Chloe. She loves the fish treats and her «Georgia the Gator» toy. The owner was so nice and made me feel welcomed.

The Grateful Hound is one very cute dog boutique. When you are a bit obsessed with your pet, you obviously have to bring them home a present from your travels. I stumbled upon the Grateful Hound while wondering around downtown Savannah and couldn’t have been anymore excited.
They have a vast array of dog treats, dog toys, dog collars, and dog bow ties because clearly every dapper dog deserves a bow tie. The owner/​employee (?) was very knowledgeable and no doubt a dog person. I learned all about his three dogs whilst showing him my Instagram account dedicated almost exclusively to my French Bulldog. He helped me pick out the proper size collar for my rather sturdy furriend. I got her a new nautical flag leash and collar and she looks just darling in it.
They have a website that I will be frequently from now on and I’ll most definitely be back at this doggie boutique the next time I’m in Savannah. The Grateful Hound is the very essence of why to shop local.

I absolutely love this place! Great shop! My fiancé and I were visiting Savannah and had to stop in to get our dog a little souvenir. The Savannah sticks are wonderful. My dog loves them. I will have to order more as soon as he runs out!

Best selection of fun and durable toys, accessories, healthy and homemade dog treats, and best of all extremely friendly owners that are always present! They truly love dogs and each of their customers. Bring your dog in and take a look around. You won’t be disappointed.

This is an adorable dog-​centered store in the middle of Savannah. If youre looking to pamper your pooch with anything from treats, to stuffed toys, to collars or industructible toys, this place has it.
There are also many USA made, tough toys to choose from. They even have som locally made stuff! The woman to helped us behind the counter was super friendly and talked to us about the store when we said we were in town visiting. I recommend stopping by!

I was happy to run across this dog specialty shop. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We bought some gourmet liver treats for our pups as well as a rubber pull toy that our biggest dog absolutely loves and it still hasn’t fallen apart after a year. There are so many unique items in this shop for your dog. Definitely worth checking out.

I love this place. It is a wonderful place to buy dog toys. Love their fluff and tuff selection and westpaw selection. The store is nicely laid out with a great doggie atmosphere. Everytime we are in Savannah, we go to this wonderful store. Check it out.

This was our last stop before we headed for the airport. I wanted to get something for our dog as well as for my friend’s dog for entertaining while we were out of town. The Fluff & Tuff alligator was adorable and that seemed to be the theme of our trip so we picked up two. I wasn’t totally convinced that our dog wouldn’t not shred this in short order as usual, but two weeks later it still lives! Only the scales on the back and a portion of the tail are gone. This was definitely worth it in our experience.
The store even carries dog beer that is made here in Seattle which was further proof these owners have great taste and research their selection well. Of course they were friendly and on top of it too or we never would have purchased stuffed toys!
A must stop when you are visiting and you should always shop local when you can.

Nice dog boutique store. Lots to offer in the limited space. Cute sports jerseys and touristy treats among other things. I got the Savannah Georgia dog treats as a gift on my recent trip here.
The hours suggested the store might be closed, but one of the owners was still within and said they were still open. Yay! Their store hours are just approximate as it says it closes at 4ish or 6ish depending on the day. Cool.

Cute store, I bought an alligator plush toy. I was told it was guaranteed to last. The woman showed me the material it was made of, it didn’t look so strong to me.
As I predicted my dog chewed threw it in a few minutes, it had that messy kind of filling.

Small but has a lot of cool toys for dogs. Owner was very friendly and offered her advice on the most popular toys. Also lots of homemade, all natural dog treats… Even a venison chew! Stop in if you have a dog and are in the area… Dogs are welcome!

Cute pet friendly shop that was actually not far from our hotel. Since my husband and I have several rescue dogs, I always make a point to research pet shops in the areas that we vacation. We spoil them as much parents spoil their children! Within reason, of course.
This is a nice shop with limited, select inventory but quality items. They carry goodies not only for your pet but also for you, the owner. My husband was interested in the Grateful Hound tee shirt but unfortunately his size was out of stock. The sales associate was nice enough to offer their business card with a coupon code to save 20% off online. Nice save.
I loved the cute sports jerseys being sold for the dogs and the selection of toys. Definitely not the stuff you’ll find at Petsmart. So yes these items are a little pricier but a treat every so often isn’t such a bad thing!

What a delight! My owners (I am a labradoodle) took me here and I thought I was in dog heaven. Fabulous treats, toys and for my humans great Tees and hats and for me a fabulous collar collection.

Cute little pet shop we visited after a good breakfast at Goose Feathers. Cheerful desk clerk, and unique selection of treats and toys. Our pooch got a bully stick and adorable Savannah themed bandana (too bad I left the bandana at the hotel, and it never made it to our doggy).
Definitely a quaint boutique to visit while strolling Barnard St.
