Not the worst place but not the best place to spend money on. The drinks were ok and we barely got any boba compared to other places in the area and I paid the same price I would at better tasting boba places it looks dirty and very ghetto inside

I have been craving boba a lot these few weeks, so when I saw Boba Loca while I was driving, I decided to stop by and grab some. The girls there were pretty rude and I asked her a simple question and she ignored me the first time, then rudely answered the second time. She then asked if my order was a medium or large about 5 times. I’m pretty shocked because I know I was being friendly with her and just asked how their day has been. I should’ve known not to even ask that since she sighed as soon as I walked in. And the boba didn’t taste good either… it’s actually the only boba place I’ve been to that has left a bad impression on me. I don’t recommend anyone to go here honestly, take your business somewhere else.

It was my first time coming to this location and i ordered a large caramel boba frap that came to $ 5.75, since they charge .50c to use a debit card. The girl seemed like she was in a rush making 4 or 5 other bobas for another girl that was in front of me. So after she was done she finally got to make mine and i was already waiting a good while and i had to be at work in 15 mins so i got my drink and halfway to my job when i was going to sip my drink i noticed she gave me a regular sized cup, i was upset and frustrated not only because of the 1.80 extra but the bobas were frozen and not soft or chewy. This is a no go for me. Just carelessly made and took no effort in making it good.

Literally just walked out the store with such disappointment. Not mainly because of the boba but the service. I work customer service, so when I see a bad one, I see it. The service made me laugh. My dad walks in, and orders what he wants. I was standing next to him. This girl taking my dad’s order was TEXTING infront of my dad… Really!!! She was so into her texting, she didn’t hear my dad say 2 regular bobas, one with extra boba. She charged my dad with one boba. I had to repeat, «2 regular bobas, one with extra boba» She was like«oh I’m sorry»(still not putting her phone away) and does it in two different transactions. Finally, my dad pays with his card and asks for the receipt. They’re like«we usually don’t give out receipts» What?! No receipts? I have never heard such a thing… Has got to be the biggest joke ever. Please, re evaluate your staff… Won’t be coming back here anymore. Two stars for the taro boba. Zero for service.

The strawberry black tea with boba was sweet, but not toooo sweet. The boba had the right amount of chewiness & consistency. The parking lot is tight & kind of small. And the location is perfect. Right by a baklava bakery & a rotisserie.

Thought if try a local business. Open on a holiday Monday. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to the Baklava Factory. My americana was decent and the blended mocha was more chocolate than mocha with coffee in it.

Very good. The taro and the Oreo vanilla boba is so good. I like the place the employees are nice and respectful. The seating place is appealing to the eye. There is a lot of options including churros, funnel cakes, and even nachos. Of course hot tea, cold tea and tea with boba. Many many options

Beat boba! I love this place and I love that they have a red bull slush… One thing I learned is to never get any food from here. I have tried different pretzels from here and their churros and both have been very bad.

no frills tried and true boba shop that just so happens to be super local. this place actually serves boba and milk tea and smoothies not like the thai places littered about the street with old gummy boba and colored syrup as their additive lol. the only caveat is that the parking is so shitty and always busy located in a little shopping mall. other than that it is conveniently located next to a dominoes and a bomb ass phở/vietnamese place.

I’ve been coming to this location for years since it’s close to my house. They’re never crowded which is a plus. They have the same menu selection as other boba joints I’ve been to. The boba itself is pretty good. Haven’t yet to score a bad batch from these guys. I usually always get the Milk Tea with boba which is always so good! Only thing that sucks about this location is parking.

Ive been here before and thought it was decent. The Taro with boba is what I usually got. Two days ago I bought two… I used a gift card and was told .50 cents extra for being under 10.00. I was ok with that. Luckily, since we can now view our transactions online and by calling I come to find out I was overcharged. Wtf, only because it’s a gift card doesn’t give you the right to rip me off. I already called and was told that Kevin will be there at 1pm. I look forward to speaking with you! Teach your employees respect for your customers and your brand! Later… Went to see Kevin, after explaining my situation I was given back my money. Thank you Kevin for making sure your customers walk out happy.

I like the drinks from this location, the service was not bad. But the boba itself was too small and froze with our blended drinks. The price is a bit high, but I do like the variety, the lychee was good. Everyone seemed to get the Taro flavor, I might get it next time we are closeby but I wouldn’t drive out of my way for this boba.

Decent milk tea, but $ 3.95 for a regular size with NOBOBA?!? WOW! Plus, a lot of the prices on the menu were blacked out! This is milk tea from the hood, not Beverly Hills! Had I known that this place is super overpriced, there wouldn’t have been a first time for me…

I came here one evening with my friends and it was a bit disappointing. The store was old and a bit run down. The menus lacked prices and the cashier didn’t even greet us. I had the jasmine milk tea with Boba and my husband had the almond milk tea with boba. I was glad I had cash since they had a minimum for credit card usage. The drink was pretty good but the boba was a bit overdone. I was trying to chat with some friends but the employees were watching a loud movie in the back… Definitely not professional… overall okay drinks but that’s all

Unlike many of the reviews, I actually really love this place. It’s been 4 years(I think) since I first walked in, and I’ve been coming ever since. There are plenty of boba places near my home but this one beats the rest. You have a wide selection of drinks to choose from as well as some snacks! I have never tried the food so I can’t give my two cents on it but they have some regular bags of chips, cookies, and candy if you want a snack with your drink. The only thing I do not like about this place is the location. The parking is very, very small. There are usually parking spots open but it’s a hassle getting in and out. Of course this isn’t the store’s fault so I’m not marking them down for it. Just be a aware of the parking. Many of the reviews say the workers are rude. I, however, have never had a bad experience with any of them since I’ve been coming. Most of the workers are fairly young so perhaps that is what gives off a «bad attitude» impression but I have never noticed it. All the workers are friendly, in my opinion. This is one of my favorite places to come to when I want a nice cold drink. I recommend it!

I read some of the bad reviews for Boba Loca before writing mine. Basically everyone has something negative to say about the service. My personal experience here wasn’t that bad. The young man working behind the register helped me pick out a milk tea boba drink and made our order right away. I got the Tapioca milk tea. A couple people were sitting down enjoying munchies such as nachos and other treats. One thing I wish I could do is own this place because it has so much potential. All this place needs is a whole new modern interior and better employees. Since this is the only Boba Loca in this location people have no choice but to come here. The surroundings of this location is a bit trashy looking but they have a lot of good nearby businesses. I saw Taron Bakery, Baklava Factory, Pho999, liquor market, and a Mediterranean kebab place all located in the same shopping center! Cool I’ll gladly stick to my usual boba spot called Bounce Boba Loft in Northridge!
