History

Established in 2003.

Sophie Mae has dedicated her career to teaching women to embrace their own unique sense of style. Raised in Orange County, CA, Sophie’s passion for fashion grew while working with Teen Vogue magazine in early 2003. She sharpened her eye for color, shape and design while working with several industry professionals and soon began styling for designer fashion shows and independent films.

Sophie gained hands-​on industry experience while working with retailers such as Nordstrom, Estee Lauder, Barney’s New York and designer consignment boutique, onQueStyle. She has also styled for high fashion labels including Christian Dior, Donna Karan, Roberto Cavalli and Versace.

Sophie Mae has been a Fashion and Event Stylist since 2003. She began her career at Teen Vogue magazine and had gained industry experience through various retail and marketing positions at prestigious companies such as Barney’s New York, onQueStyle, Nordstrom and J.Crew.

Sophie Mae is now the founder and owner of Sophie Mae Style where she helps every-​day women discover a sense of personal style through their wardrobes. She is also the co-​owner/​founder of Stylish Details where she works as an event stylist for weddings.
