I cannot say enough about how professional, easy to work with, flexible, and talented Berit with Mirror Mirror Beauty is. She did my makeup as well as my bridal party’s makeup for my wedding day. What made Berit stand out against other makeup artists I was considering is the fact that she offers a great all-​day package, and boy was it worth it! She was there for me for touch-​ups during our first-​look photos before the ceremony, and after the ceremony she was there to touch me up for photos as well. Before our grand entrance, she made my look a little more night-​time glamorous and my make-​up lasted all day and all night long. My bridesmaids loved her too and they were raving about how she was the best makeup artist they had ever worked with either in their personal wedding or weddings they had been a bridesmaid in. I felt calm and relaxed all day long knowing I was in good hands with Berit.

Berit was amazing! She is so kind, friendly and professional. She made me look and feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. We had a unique situation. We had an engagement party and then a surprise wedding. She did my makeup for the engagement party and stayed throughout the engagement party to transform my makeup from red dress fancy into bridal makeup. She also did my bridesmaids, mother, mother-​in-​law and sister’s make-​up!

I got married on Saturday in Laguna Beach and Berit came to our hotel to do my makeup as well as that of my 3 bridesmaids. I joke that she turned us caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. I did a preview of makeup and hair a month or so prior and was extremely happy with the job she did there, but was even happier on the improvements she made on the day of the wedding. The 4 of us looked amazing. None of us were used to wearing makeup at all, so it was a wonderful transformation. Berit was on time, very organized, professional, and so sweet to work with. We were so lucky. It gets even better. My hair stylist bailed out on me the week of my wedding, and Berit quickly recommended a friend of hers who worked at a salon a block from our hotel and who would be willing to do all of our hair at the hotel for us. Berit arranged everything and saved the day! She definitely went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend her for your makeup needs.

Very happy! I am not really a girly girl. I do not wear much makeup and not very often, but I figured for a boudoir photo I should spring for the full look. She made me look like me but better. It was like she read my mind about how I wanted to look.

I found Berit by researching the internet. I already had a referral but wanted to have a couple of trial runs with other make up artists before deciding which style worked best for me. Upon arriving at Berit’s, she had a very nice studio set up with plenty of pictures, endless amounts of makeup and hair products… and all in a very comfortable environment! Of course, all this is important when choosing a make up artist but what really sold me was her down to earth personality, professionalism and vision to help me seek the look I was going after on my wedding day! The results of the trial run was more than I had expected… she had transformed me into a glamorous but natural looking bride to be! So when it came to my big day, I knew exactly what to expect and she absolutely delivered again! I couldn’t of been more pleased with my make up and up-​do (chignon). I can also say the same for my MOH and two nieces… her make up & their hair was beautiful! Thank you Berit … I can’t tell you how many guest commented on my hair and lashes, that’s when you know your eyes really stand out! So ladies… if you’re seeking someone who is professional, organized, talented and courteous… this is your make up artist!

I was referred to Berit by a good friend who has worked with her many times, along with our wedding planner Brooke Keegan. From start to finish, working with Berit was a pleasure! She did my makeup exactly as I wanted and envisioned for our wedding day. Berit is easy to communicate with, she is über organized and she made me feel relaxed the entire time. I had a makeup trial with her a month before our wedding date and it was so fun to see what she was able to do and how she made me look beautiful! Not all vendors are as organized and creative, yet Berit is the whole package and more! I highly recommend Berit and have referred her to my own friends!

I recently went to Berit for makeup lessons. I’ve been wearing makeup for ever, and did all the normal things one would do: advice at sephora, some youtube videos occasionally, that type of thing. I’ve never before had such good or specific advice. She made me realize that my foundation was way too heavy and too chalky for my skin, I really just needed a better concealer. I also was way too tentative with my eye makeup (I’m a pale lashed-​redhead, so I look really washed out without a lot of it). She gave me specific product recommendations, and we spent about 3 hours or so going over each of the basic steps, the proper way to apply, and the things to look for if I wanted to expand my makeup collection. I even learned how to pick some lipsticks that look great on me! (and I’ve never really used lipstick before).
I have to say that I’m really excited about possibly going back in a few months and having her refine my application technique and maybe give me some suggestions for more fun looks I can add to my repertoire!

I got married in Newport Beach last year and searched high and low for a great hair and make-​up artist. I read great reviews about Berit and decided to give her a try, my second preview, the first a disaster. I drove to her place from San Diego and thought she was super nice and professional. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and made me look amazing, not overdone, so I signed on the dotted line!
On my wedding date, she arrived on time and came fully prepared. Unfortunately, everyone was happy with their hair and make-​up, except me… She got heavy-​handed with my make-​up, so I felt a bit cake-​faced. She changed up the way she put up my hair from the preview, which ofcourse changed the way the hair looked in the end. Both of these things she tried to fix, and did to some extent, but there was only so much time. My hair and make-​up took longer than she had calculated apparently, because she finished a good 30 – 45 minutes after the scheduled end time. In the rush, I forgot to put on my veil as I rushed out to make my photo shoot, so I was married without it.
Everyone raved about my make-​up and I do look beautiful in pictures, but like I said, the make-​up was a bit overdone in person. I had an updo and it didnt stay put as well as I would have wished. For all the money I paid, overall my full experience didnt hit the mark exactly, but I’m glad my day was still the happily ever after I dreamed about.

Berit did makeup for my wedding, and my four female family members… and she was fantastic.
Her personality and amazing skill with make-​up was beyond appreciated. All event long, people specifically commented on how good my makeup looked, and given her «tricks» — people were convinced that I had put blue contacts in my eyes (I hadn’t).
Berit made me look and feel so «stunning» — I can’t recommend her more highly.

Berit did an amazing job on my wedding day and for my engagement pictures! I have a ton of sensitivities and she worked with the limited products I could use and did an amazing job. Everything looked very natural and my pictures came out spectacular. She was also on time and overall a pleasure to work with. I had Berit do makeup for my wedding in September and I just had a Cambodian reception last weekend, she is beyond awesome! Gave me the look that I wanted. She did everyone is both bridal parties makeup and everyone said that it felt light and looked flawless all night long. Her make up last and doesn’t make you feel like makeup is caked on you. Love her and will continue to go to her for all my makeup needs.

Recently I had my makeup done by Berit for some boudoir photos I had taken for my boyfriend. Berit styled my hair to perfection & made my skin glow like a model. She used a light airbrush foundation, which was nice because it smoothed out my skin and lasted all day. The experience was a total confident booster! Plus she’s a doll and such a sweetheart, she made it easy and fun. When my time comes to get married, I will defiantly use Berit as I know I can feel confident that she will make me look the best possible on my special day.
