I have gotten food here a few times, and every time I do, I always say never again. This is the worst street food I have ever had. I am from NYC and I’ve had street food my whole life. I am also a huge fan of Asian cuisine, and this cart just doesn’t cut it. The cart does have an interesting menu. However, every time I’ve gone to cart, items were crossed off or «coming soon.» I have gotten the teriyaki with chicken, korean bbq with pork, and the teriyaki pork with their spicy sauce. First off, the sauces for these dishes are way too sweet! They taste just like generic teriyaki and korean bbq sauce, and they just dab so much sauce on the meat; I think they do this to hide the low quality meat they use. Since I was tired of this sweetness, I asked for the teriyaki pork with their supposedly spicy sauce. Well it was just sriracha. The portions are pretty small for the price, which is between $ 6 — $ 7. You get half of what you get from a food cart in NYC for the price. They try and make it look like a lot by putting food on both sides of the dish, but it does work. Also, they don’t even give their customers a bag or napkins, which is standard for real street food. What is truly disturbing is that every time I’m done eating, my stomach gets upset. I don’t know if it is the sweetness or the meat, but something is not right about this food. If you are a student at UD, and you think this is amazing street food, take a bus to NYC one day, go to any food cart Manhattan, Midtown has many and great options, then come back to Amstel Ave., and try this cart again. Your mind will change about this cart. I think this is the reason this cart does so well, most of their customers, which are students from the suburbs and a major city, do not know better. This may be «exotic» to them, but this is crap food to me. We deserve a better pan-asian street cart than this.

I came across this food truck by chance; I was touring UD with my nephew and decided to stop for lunch. I had the BBQ Brisket Panini, my nephew had the Thai Green Curry Rice Bowl. Both of these items were unbelievable! We talked to the owners of The Cart and they were just as nice as the food is great! Also, I thought the price was really reasonable. If you go to school at UD or you work in the area you should definitely check them out… it’s really worth it. I live in LA where food trucks are on every corner; this one is the real deal!!!

This listing says it is called«The Cart» but it reads«Dumpling Cart» on the side of their cart. I went there for lunch today(around 2:30pm) I ordered some dumplings and lo mien for $ 7. The dumplings were really good; there was some spice with it, which was nice. The lo mien, I don’t know, wasn’t the greatest; the noodles were too thin and there was a lot of «sauce» with it; which leaked through the Styrofoam container they gave me onto the floor of my car. I am not in that area too often but I would go back for those dumplings.
