I Don’t Give a Fork

Leigh Ann catered our wedding. Very accommodating in making a menu for us. Mac and cheesesteak is awesome! Speedy service and excellent food. Especially enjoyed the apple slaw as it was both original and flavorful. Good food at our event was very important to us and since we were out of towners, we went on a whim trusting the great reviews. Highly suggest them for anyone who wants to do a food truck at their special event! Both old and young people at our party loved the novelty of the food presented and give lots of praise on the quality and tastiness of I Don’t Give A Fork.

I wanted to like this so badly!
I tried this food truck twice a few months apart — the first time was in April at Harvest Ridge’s food truck competition, and the second was again in Milton for the Truckin’ Tuesday event.
In April, there was a huge crowd overwhelming the truck, which is why I figured there wasn’t much punch as far as flavor went on the sandwich.
Tonight at Truckin Tuesday we waited a ridiculously long time for the same sandwich and an order of crack fries. There was only one person cooking while another was taking orders; they should be trying to cook more than one order at a time, as this was causing the huge wait time.
The sandwich again was lackluster, and definitely not worth the time we waited; the steak as well as that macaroni and cheese tasted as if it was store bought, rather than home made, and the bread had no flavor and texturally was foamy, if that makes sense.
I hope that they are able to turn it around, this is such a great concept, but they don’t seem to be doing well on execution.

Tried I Don’t Give A Fork at Las America ASPIRA annual carnival. I have to say, hands down one of the best, if not the best food trucks I have eaten from. My kids loved I Don’t Give A Fork Mac and cheesesteak. My wife and I both had their Gaucho steak sandwich, which I highly recommend, along with an order of Crack Fries. We got 4 steak sandwich, and 2 orders of fries. I was able to feed a family of 4 for $ 35. So not only does I Don’t Give A Fork have awesome food, but they are affordable!

Today this lovely truck was outside of the Oprah The Life You Want event in Newark, NJ. I was on the brink of death going on one protein shake in the am. I had the Tuscan Chicken sandwich, it was awesome. The bread was super soft and the chicken was perfect. I am not a big fan of cooked spinach, so I would have preferred it be raw but it has more protein when it is cooked.
Hopefully they will be out there tomorrow so I can holla at that Peppy BLT!

I have already added a review for this location but I want to add another one. Today I tried the Jive Turkey BLT and it was wonderful! The zesty chipotle mayo is what really made it. This food truck has never let me down! Everything I have ever tried is so good. Spend another $ 1.50 and you can get a hashbrown or bag of chips and a drink. The hashbrowns are a little too salty for me but I’m not a fan of hashbrowns period.

Quite frankly, this is the happiest I’ve been in years. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, I Don’t Give a Fork delivers on every leveling. Whether its the wake and steak, the wake and bacon, the hangover, or the Mac an steak you can’t go wrong with any selection. Aside from the food, the service is the most friendly and beautiful on the U DE campus. It will leave you with a smile on your face and a belly full of love. 6 out of 5!

This food truck is a Godsend. I got the Wake and Steak and it was spectacular. Great food, great prices. All must go.

Yay! Food trailer in Newark! We recently moved from Austin and are seriously missing the food trucks. Delaware in general is seriously lacking in the delicious food department. This little food trailer is right across from the UD football stadium on South College Ave (currently located in the BFGoodrich parking lot right next to Wells Fargo bank). The owner is a recent UD grad. Gotta love a girl for following her dreams! We both ordered the Mac and Cheesesteak because… come on, it’s a cheesesteak with mac and cheese!!! It was made fresh to order and served extra hot! The roll was about 6 inches long, the macaroni was smooth and creamy and the meat wasn’t dry or tough. We can’t wait to try something else on the menu! We’ll be going back soon, and we recommend that everyone check out «I Don’t Give a Fork!»
