I really enjoyed my meal from here. Watching the meat on the stakes cooking was really cool. I got there probably around noon but the lamb meat wasn’t ready yet. He told me it would take about ten more minutes. It was worth waiting for. I got the gyro meal. The fries could have been crisper, but life goes on. I loved the sauces. The veggies were fresh. What’s not to love? And the owner/chef dude was a delight to chat with.

No flavor to the dry, tasteless, lamb gyro pita. None. Went to tell the owner and chef I wasn’t satisfied and he said«we give the same meat to everyone else, we can’t help you» then walked back in. Didn’t try to resolve the situation at all. Terrible.

I really love this place. It’s probably my favorite food place in the entire mall. It’s healthy and tasty and not bad for the price. The man who works here is extremely nice(hes an adorable older gentleman who seems very down to earth) and wraps my food up really well. I always get the chicken wrap and I can see him prepare it from the register – totally worth the wait. I’ve gotten something from here a few times already and I’ve never been disappointed. I recommend buying food from here, I’m certainly going to bring a few friends of mine here!

I was at New Park yesterday and was super hungry. It has been a long morning and wanted something to eat that was a bit more fresh. I walked by this Gyro establishment and wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Gyro combo with lamb beef(or was it beef lamb). First disclaimer: I am by no means a foodie when it comes to Mediterranean foods. It was actually all very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the Gyro. If it was a little close to my work, I would totally sneak away and have another one. Everything was well prepared and tasty. For $ 7.15(includes tax), I got a decent meal that was just perfect in portion size. That was 1 Gyro, small order of french fries, and a can of soda. It is certainly ball park to what you pay at the adjacent food establishments. Certainly had value! I also tried a little bit of the chicken. That was very good also. I am kind of torn between getting the lamb beef or the chicken know, but you can’t go wrong with either. I would definitely recommend this establishment, and would definitely encourage people to try the Gyro. In my opinion, it is very tasty. I am kind of torn on whether I want to rate this establishment 4 or 5 stars. I am on the fence either direction. I’ll go ahead and rate it 4 stars because I feel like they haven’t peaked yet. I feel like a true star rating is closer to 4.5. The people are nice. The food is great. What more can you ask for.

When I went to NewPark mall I was looking for a place that was somewhat healthy especially since at most malls they serve fast food. I took my chance here because I love Mediterranean food. The owner seemed nice. My food was a good portion and not to small or oversized. Just enough to eat! When I bit into the lamb it was surprisingly juicy and seasoned well. He apparently grills it which tastes so much better. I wish there was a little more rice though. The salad was decent, nothing spectacular but it was a good side dish. I thought the sauces were enough for me to dip my lamb in. The food takes awhile to prepare compared to other food stands around but that’s the price for healthy cooked meals. My only complaint is that everytime I go up there, sometimes there is literally no one there. I have to wait a long time to get service. Sometimes I end up leaving cause I’m too hungry to wait.

Okay everyone give the guy a break hes on his own trying to serve u really healthy food that tastes great. Hes a little nervous but not at all pushy. He really believes in healthy cooking and does his best to serve it to you which think tastes great and is worth the 10 min wait. He takes the raw meat and grills it in front of you.(accept gyro meat which is sloe cooked) CANANYONESAYFRESH. Best food in the food court hands down

Not«fast food» at all. Felt bad for the guy which is why I decided to get food from here. He used the same gloves to cook as he did while handling money. Incredibly unsanitary. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

I wish I had read the reviews about this place before even wasting my money at this fast food outlet in the Newpark Mall food court. 1) The menu is very confusing. The pictures are too tiny. You cannot see what the different items look like. There’s different types of gyros(wraps, plate, and burger). I obviously don’t know enough about gyros or greek food, but when I think of a gyro, it is in a wrap. When you order the Gyro Plate here, it is not in a sandwich or a wrap. It is in a plate. I’m serious! 2) Two different folks take your order and ring you up. Again, I’m being serious! One person takes your order and another one rings you up. Therefore, make sure you get everything that you order and your change, if you wish to pay cash. The one person that took my order did not relay the message to the other person of what bill did I use to pay for my food. Huh? Especially when the other person is two inches away. I had to tell the other person who rang me up what bill I used. Clearly, miscommunication among the folks that works here. 3) They should give you a number or ask for your name. Not call people by saying«Sir» or «Ms» or «You.» Or point to you. It is just not cool. Another reviewer before me have already said about their attitude and how it is bad. Real bad! As Omar said point blank, please don’t waste your time. Also, I would never eat there again.

For fast food, I love it. It is the best place to eat at the mall. It’s still fast food though. I like the guys who work there, they are very nice and I havent had any problems with them. Not sure why the other people have had bad experiences. I always get plenty of meat on my gyros and the home made desserts are awesome. I’ve ordred a few plates off the menu and all of them were yummy.

I took my daughter there and we were really disappointed. It was basically a lettuce sandwich. He did put a few drops of sauce in the top(sarcasm). I would never eat there again. Please don’t waste your time.

So I ordered a gyro wrap. Specifically asked them not to put too much salad in the wrap. Once served, I noticed there were prob 3 strips of meat and the rest of the sand which was lettuce and onions. So I told the guy at the register, he turned around to the cook and mentioned it to him. The cook walked up to me lifted my sandwich and says«look here is the meat!» Could see that myself! Anyways to avoid conflict I took it and began eating. Hmmm if I really just wanted to eat carbs and lettuce I would have ordered fries with salad! …would have tasted alot better that eating bread with lettuce

This place has gyros and other greek and middle eastern dishes. The proprietor is kinda pushy in terms of getting you to try his food. We tried the Alexander plate, which was sliced beef and pork on a tomato based sauce over pita bread, with a scoop of minute rice and a large dollop of sour cream. I was not a fan of this. I’m happy to report that the baklava was very good.
