Victoria’s Secret

I love this location.
Much smaller than other locations I’ve been to but this location works for me. I’m not a fan of their bras so I usually only come for the panties. Selection is great. They are always fully stocked so I never have trouble in terms of variety.
Staff are pleasant and always manning the floor to offer assistance or a shopping bag.
Store is clean and well kept. Lines can get long but they move pretty quickly.

I legit hate this place. You can never find an employee to help you find anything. You pretty much have to fend for yourself. When you do finally flag someone down, they seem overwhelmed because they’re running around the store trying to help other customers. I’m also not a fan of the weird line set up. Takes forever and it’s sort of confusing. Panties are ok, but the bras are RUBBISH. Poor fitting and they don’t last.

I am a huge fan of VS and I try not to go in because I know I will spend. But this location is very easy for me it is near my job which is a plus. The place is a decent size I would say and the staff when I have gone there have always been nice and help when you need it. It is very organized and easy to find things.

I went looking for a specific perfume. I looked by myself for awhile and didn’t see it. I finally stopped a worker to ask and she said they didn’t have it in the store but they could order it online without the ridiculous shipping cost. WIN! Or so I thought. I waited in a slow line and finally spoke with a cashier. She tells me they had a special $ 50 package of it with lotion, etc. I did not want that (just the perfume). Mind you, this conversation took much longer than needed. So eventually she goes, oh we have that over there. So at this point I’m annoyed but I go to look where she tells me. Still nowhere to be found. So I ask someone who sees like their supervisor because everyone was asking her questions. I explain was happens and she agrees to take me to another register to order it (the original cashier thought I was asking about a different fragrance –_​-​). Long story short she couldn’t figure out how to order it either and I left.
Ugh. I hate shopping to begin with and usually just get everything online. This experience reminded me realize why. I eventually just ordered it myself online because I had a free shipping code.
But ugh again.

Typical Victoria’s Secret… black and white and pink all over and divided into three different rooms featuring fancy lingerie, casual, and beauty.
I stopped in recently to cash in a free undies coupon and couldn’t find a single employee to help. Luckily there were 6 other gals also picking up their free goods and I was able to find the right style. Even though there wasn’t anyone on the floor to help — there were three cashiers behind the counter so the line moved very quickly and that’s always a good thing..

rude! No one greeted. When I said excused me to one of the sales, she just threw her point finger at me and said hold on. Wow. Literally just walked out right now.

Manager had a huge attitude problem when I tried to return something. Extremely rude and even more incompetent! They lost a customer because of her. Never going back!

You are not supposed to be the product, the lingerie is. Yet, the policy is to turn over your license in order to return something even though you have a receipt. My license and personal information is no corporation’s business!
With her saccharine smile, the manager insisted that «The Retail Equation» system will not share my personal information. Not only will I not take her word, but what if the system is hacked? If you don’t need an ID to buy something, then you shouldn’t need an ID to return it. People freely give out their information to total strangers without thinking twice.
There is no joy in the shopping experience at VS. The commercial and even police-​state feel to shopping in Victoria’s Secret contradicts the fanciful mood the dazzling lingerie seeks to imbue in the customer.
Instead of making an exception to the policy, the manager directed me to return the item at another VS that does not enact the policy.
I am no longer shopping at VS on principle and you shouldn’t either!

I planned on going in and just returning some stuff I ordered online, but decided to browse around since I needed some new bras anyway. I usually go for the Dream Angels push up, but find that with tank tops and such the sides and top of the cup always peek out. So I talked to a girl, Tomeka, she was really nice, and described my problem. She told me to try the Very Sexy and the Body by Victoria. The Very Sexy didn’t work out, but the Body by Victoria is now my new favorite style. So THANK YOU TOMEKA!
The lines were a little long, but they went quickly, since there were about 4 girls working the counter. I did have a problem with the smell. Generally, I know they spray their stuff everywhere, and I don’t have an issue, but there was a girl walking around actively spraying it, and I could practically taste it. Very distracting and gave me a headache.

Waiting for my wife. Lines to the cashiers are sooooo slow. Worst I have seen! Go somewhere else!

I thought the Flatiron area would have nice sales people. It doesn’t. I won’t compliment them with the singular bitch word, they are nasty bitches. I went to return something and I had the receipt but had the wrong plastic bag thing it comes in when you order from online. She advised me in a strict tone pretending it was a question, that it was not the right bag. She did this a second time. I told her I could hear her and am aware it is the wrong bag. I didn’t feel she was being helpful so I asked for a manager. She was a manager. She leaves and I think she’s going to whip up some magic but comes back with two assistants. Really whore? FYI, I“m 5’2 and this nasty bitch was like 5’11. Turns out the return went fine but she made it seem like it wasn’t going to go through and that I had to call customer service who had no idea what she was talking about. Order online, far less aggravation.

Recent visit lured me to VS was receiving in the U.S. mail a «free low-​rise Cheeky panty» promo card as I do not understand lingerie terms, I inquired to the most available associate. Apparently Cheeky is a thicker form of a thong that contains more material and substance. Sales associates are aggressive and fend off the most negative and abrasive attitude «this Cheeky as it is almost like a thong, got it?!!» Who do they take customers for as I am not a dog. VS is a dog eats dog company eating muck to regard customers as vermin.

Some of the items I wanted were not available in my size. but eveyone was very nice and helpful.

Was in a rush and the sales lady helped me out really fast.

Worst company to deal with when having returns.
First of all you need an ID to return. Really since when?
Second When I went again, for the same return with an ID, the item was rang as one and it was a two for 1 sell so I was being told that I wasn’t charged. No way. I know I was. They and I could not remember the sell price. They kept throwing me a higher price, which of course was not on the receipt. The manager had to get involved and I was given a shut up gift card of $ 10.99 which of course was less than what I paid. I will be giving this card away since I will not be purchasing from VS again.

Not as big as the location on 86^th (my preferred NYC location) but it was a time saver to come here for my free coupon. I got service so I was able to find out where the underwear I had to choose from was located. There’s some selection here and getting checked out wasn’t horrendous.
It may not have multiple floors but if you’re just looking for something quickly, you’ll probably find it here & get the added bonus of avoiding the mob of tourists at 34^th Street.

I’m not a gigantic fan of Victoria’s Secret overall, as I think they are overpriced for the quality of undergarments that you get. That said, a gal needs a convenient place to pick up some of these things once in a while so VS fulfills that purpose in my life every now and then.
This location has, by far the most over-​the-​top service on the floor and in the dressing room that I’ve experienced. Measuring, adjusting, picking things out for you… they do it all. I walked out $ 150 poorer but with two super cute, phenomenal fitting ensembles. Not a bad deal.

I understand that it was the semi-​annual sale, but it took FOREVER, to check out of this place. I think I stood on line for well over 20 minutes. Ten minutes deep, I realized that I grabbed the wrong size bra, and one of the associates was nice enough to run and find me the correct size. However, the girl who rang me up, left the security tag on my bra, and I didn’t realize it until after I left on vacation the next day! Definitely not my favorite branch.

VERY overpriced for what you get. the bras apparently push up your boobs and give you loads of sexy cleavage, but i wouldn’t know because as the salesgirl here said to me «it doesn’t really work when your breasts are that small.» geez thanks, i’ll go book my implants now. that was just brutal and rude, and my boobs aren’t even that small! everybody knows all you need is a handful…
i find the bras here trashy anyways. this place is good to get anything in leopard/​cheetah print but mostly push up bras, garter belts, spray tan, hairspray and underwear that says things like «santa’s helper,» «unwrap me» with ribbons on the sides so you can actually can un-​wrap that vag, «flirt,» «best kisser,» or «this is perfect» right on your classy ass. if you’re not in the market for these goods, find another store! personally, i’d be mortified for any guy to see that when they take my pants off or even my friends to see that in the laundry, but i guess some girls like to spell it out on their underwear. to each their own
this store is actually closed for renovations now. so if you need a skanky bra, you’ll sadly have to trek to another location
