Had a lot of errands to run and a bridal shower gift to buy – didn’t want to go to VS and was short on time so I googled lingerie boutiques in my neighborhood. I saw a photo of the boutique on street view — saw that it was small so I set my «expectations barometer» on low. Thought they may have a limited selection. Also I saw the review that said the owner has a dog in there and as a dog lover, it always brightens my day to stop and get a cuddle so it sounded great! Thought I would take a chance.
I must say, after having lived in Paris for 5 years and working for luxury brands such as Chanel, I have developed a very discerning taste – every single piece I saw at Sugar Cookies was classy, pretty, feminine and I would feel like a princess wearing anything there. On top of that, I found there was a wide variety, and on top of THAT, she has some very wearable clothing pieces as well including several little black dresses that were adorable.
I found the owner Susanne delightful – she is really perfect. She is beautiful – inside and out, was attentive to my needs, we got straight to the point, found the perfect gift for my friend, and then had a wonderful conversation – also a natural conversationalist/​great hostess. I didn’t get to snuggle her dog, Kodi, though, since I took too long taking off my coat and putting my things down – he was waiting for me with his little tongue sticking out – so sweet – then got tired and went to bed in his little basket. In typical New Yorker style – he couldn’t wait for me and had other business to take care of!
I will only go back to Sugar Cookies for all my lingerie needs now, thrilled to have discovered this place, happy to support local business, and happy to go back to get a little cuddle from Kodi!

I am a lingerie snob. Love to shop for it. What a disappointment was the trip to this store. Don’t waste your time coming here! Brands that they sell you can find anywhere, they didn’t have any unique or remotely interesting pieces. Really small selection of items with limited sizes. Most of the merchandise seems to be outdated, many items are from previous seasons and still sold at the full price! As other reviews mentioned the owner is very pushy to make the sell.

Cute intimate haven for your most intimate pink parts! Not sure if she’s the owner, but the attendant is super helpful and knows what she’s talking about. Service: Personal attention without being over attentive. Sugar Cookies has great sales to boot! Mon-​sale items seem to be on par with mainstream lingerie stores but service is MUCH better. PS there is a sweet, quiet, dog who seems to be used to guests, so don’t be startled. Definitely returning soon!

Perhaps I am biased in my review but the store doesn’t carry anything beyond an E cup and even those offerings are beige or black tee shirt bras.
They have an absolutely delightful selection of lingerie (mostly bras and panties) for smaller cups, especially A-​C. Wish I had known that before making the trek downtown.

First off, the shop owner’s a pearl of girl. Patient. Attentive. All that jazz.

Secondly, I was impressed with their inventory. VS items are one of 2 groups: PINK and everything else. Gets boring after a while, ya know?
SC has items in stock that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
So, whether you’re a lace & frills type, Bettie Page fanatic, or plain Jane minimalist… SC has you covered.

Had an extremely pleasant experience here. I was on vacation in NYC and happened upon this wonderful little gem of a lingerie store. the selection is amazing, and the owner was extremely knowledgable with sizes and fits. i observed a bridal party shopping in the store and it seemed this place had something for all shapes and sizes! i was surprised at how easy the owner fit and handled all those different women. the items i bought are comfortable and i feel good in them.

Amazing selection of bras, panties, and sleep ware. The staff member was so sweet and helpful Finding me everything that was on sale in my size! This place is a hidden gem!

Suzanne is awesome! She makes you feel at home and is super helpful. I’ve visited other lingerie shops but none compare to the selection and customer service of Sugar Cookies. I won’t be wasting time considering other lingerie shops. Sugar cookies is it for me!

After having lame/​unfriendly experiences at two other boutique lingerie stores in the area, I was very happy to be see their furry little greeter welcome me into the store while the owner was helping another customer. After a bit of browsing on my own, the owner helped me find several things I absolutely loved. She was incredibly helpful, bringing different items to the dressing room to help me find exactly what I was looking for. She didn’t have the corset I needed (she referred me to Orchard Corset Center), but I fell in love with the Skin loungewear line, and spoiled myself with several of their products.

Horrible customer service. Asked for an extra bag and the attendant said, sorry we are low. I will never take my money there ever again!!!

Sugar Cookies is a true GEM! I discovered this amazing store while looking on line for a specific item… Not living in NYC, I have only spoken with the owner Susanne. She is just unbelievable. will special order for you, listen to your needs, mail items out to you for your condsideration. just wanting to assist in any way she can and wants you to be happy… Everyone should either visit Sugar Cookies in the store or on line. you will not be disappointed… Next time in NYC I will be sure to make Sugar Cookies a destination.

small selection (lots of items but each in very limited quantities/​sizes) of bras, underwear, and sleepwear. very limited selection of sexy lingerie. saleswoman was too pushy and prices were high.

Great lingerie store. The owner is very nice. They have some of the same items as Journelle, plus many more. Dressing rooms are small so hard to bring a friend or significant other into the dressing room like you can at Journelle or Kiki de Montparnasse.

This lingerie shop is a hidden gem! The owner, Susanne is extremely nice. The store is very cozy and offers very beautiful and unique lingerie at a great price point. I love this store :)

This is a pretty sweet lingerie store without the pretentiousness and not afraid to use color. They definitely have more expensive stuff, but they have a range, which is also rad. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cute store!

Super cute boutique lingerie store. I was there last weekend buying a very last minute bridal shower gift. The owner couldn’t be more helpful suggesting items within my price range that would look cute together. I saw some great lingerie sets that I covet for myself, and will likely be revisiting at a later date. My friend and everyone else at the shower loved the lingerie I ended up with from Sugar Cookies, and the naughty and cheeky tag line helped too.
Oh, and there’s a super cute dog in the store!
