I really have to give Trevor the credit. 2 thumbs up. My iPad Air bumped on the edge of concrete sidewalk; screen smashed really bad. Wasn’t noticed the case was bend into curve shape, too. Amazingly Trevor was able to get the replacement screen on tight within a reasonable time. Worked as new. Yes highly recommended his service.

Cracked the edge of my iPhone 6 screen running on Friday. So my husband found this place for me and I’m so glad he did. They are located in front of my building. It took an hour but Monday’s are probably their busy days since most like me break their phones in the weekends. Sigh. There was a snafu with the voucher I purchased on Unilocal,but the owner fixed it immediately with no issue. I highly recommend this place!

So this morning I cracked my iPhone screen. I didn’t think too much of it until I started having ghost clicks and the phone essentially opening and closing things on its own. Then I got a little frustrated and decided, yeah I should probably get this fixed.
About three hours later, I was able to get the screen replaced in less than 15 minutes and for less than $ 100. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. My day went from crappy to great in a matter of half an hour. I won’t go anywhere else if I have another problem with my phone.

Yes, this place is the real deal my friends. Trevor is as good as promised, and he swapped out my destroyed screen and had me on my way in less than 20 minutes.
This story starts with my jogging on a Wednesday night down a very dark and unfamiliar street. I must have stepped on a flat stone or piece of glass because the next thing I know my leg is flying out from under me and I’m hitting the deck. Road rash? Check? Broken bones? None, fortunately. Phone? Umm, well, it was on but lord knows what was on the screen because it was shattered. I had a nice case on it that’s protected it from previous mishaps, including the time a drunk girl slapped it down 9^th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen as she was trying to point to the direction we should all go. Not this time. No, this time Big Bill landed on the phone, and no fancy case was going to prevent it from being shattered.
Granted, I’ve seen people make due, peering past the cracks to decipher whatever was on their screen, but I’m spoiled and, damn it, I’m going to get a new screen. But, where to go? To Unilocal!
I found a few place near my home in Central NJ but, when I searched by my office, up came The Device Shop complete with reviews from fellow Elite members praising the work of Trevor. So I made an appointment online (so convenient!) for the next morning (bonus!). After going through security – it’s a large office building overlooking Zuccotti Park – I made my way up to the office and was immediately asked by Trevor to sit down and tell him what happened while he deftly disassembled my phone.
Before I knew it, I had a working phone that looked fresh from the factory and, since the entire front face and LCD is exchanged, it felt that way, too. I did need to reset my phone because of some weirdness with phantom button-​pressing and more, but I’m not the first to report that with an iPhone. The fact is I had a useless piece of expensive tech that now looks great and works fine. In the end, that’s way more than I expected when I started.

Took two weeks to fix my phone even though website said it was half hour. Never got a call when job was done; had to follow up with them. Also took 3 tries to pick up phone because nobody answered twice. Only positive is they fixed the phone.

Had an appointment same day and Trevor was just amazing! Replaced my battery right away. Some of the best customer service out there. Thank you.

Fast, friendly and reasonably priced. What’s more, the repair they performed on my iPhone 6 (replacing the rear camera lens, which had somehow shattered) is a 20 min. job that Apple would not even deign to perform in favor of wanting instead to replace phone for over $ 300. I’m quite happy to have The Device Shop in my neighborhood.

After scheduling an appointment online and confirming it via text, which they will send you, you go and get your iPhone fixed. It’s a small office, but the work is quick, convenient, and done right in front of you and your iPhone/​iPad is reborn again, brand spanking new. Extremely affordable and well worth it than having to shell out $ 200 – 300 at Apple or buying a whole new product. Awesome – extremely professional and polite. Andre was subbing that day for the main guy, and he was a great guy. My speaker was blown out and I couldn’t make any calls while visiting NYC, so I was really stressed. Breezed right in, and he was done in 10 min – and he fixed it for free! Best experience I’ve ever had on NYC. Definitely use this place.

The last time I got my cell phone fixed it cost me over $ 200, so when my charging port stopped working I figured I was going to have to bite the bullet. Came across these guys on Unilocal and their price list was clearly posted online (which was VERY reasonable), so I made an appointment for the following morning.
Walked in expecting to pay a few bucks and get my phone later that afternoon, but after describing my issue the technician said it might not require a repair and cleaned out the charge port right there in front of me. The best part is that he offered to do it for FREE since it didn’t require new parts! Since I couldn’t buy the guy a beer (being 10AM), I figure a great Unilocal review will have to do
Needless to say, when my phone actually breaks or has problems, I won’t hesitate to call these guys up. No need to shop around — this is a helpful, fairly priced shop that offers great customer service! You won’t have a hint of buyer’s remorse

Fast friendly and cheap service. I broke my phone in the morning one day and Google places around my work where I can get it fixed fast quick and cheap. This place came up. I must say it was fast and done right. The repair guy was so nice as to even fix my phone first even though the part was for another customer. If your phone is broken bring it here

I went in to the FiDi location after my new iphone took a dive. He was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. At the time my phone was too new and the phone parts were not available yet. However, Trevor told me that he would clean out the water if I really wanted to. In addition to the consultation he offered me other alternatives. He seemed like he genuinely cared about his customers and was not just trying to make a quick buck. I was referred to Fix My iPhone by a friend and I would recommend it to everyone that is having phone issues. This was the most seamless technological encounter that I’ve ever had. The service here was even better than the Apple store.
Trevor even gave me his contact info in case I had other issues. Hopefully, I will never have to come back though haha.

This is legit in an office building, you go inside, get an ID and go to the 8^th floor. Apparently everyone gets lost so walk into the glass doors that are immediately next to the elevators.
I walked in. He fixed my phone — amazing. 7 minutes and $ 87 later I walked right out. Woohoo! Thanks, Andre.
