«Not just for Brunch.» «Not for many, many years now…» comments Frank Bruni of the New York Times about our wonderful dinner menu. Join us for an evening meal and reverse your thinking — Sarabeth’s for Dinner.
History
Established in 1981.
In 1981, Sarabeth opened a small retail store on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The store started out as a bakery and jam shop, where customers could see the jams being cooked in a kettle and ladled into jars. The aroma of fresh baked muffins, pastries, cookies and cakes wafted across Amsterdam Avenue luring customers into the tiny space to savor the goodies emerging fresh baked from her ovens. Customers clamored for more, so Sarabeth put in a few tables and started serving breakfast and lunch.
The highly regarded restaurants now serve breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner and have received accolades from critics and customers alike. Stop in when you are in New York. It will be worth the visit!
