My favorite pizza spot in New York City, nice piping hot pizza and not too expensive, I’d say their Mushroom pizza is the best but the sausage is good too

The Pizza is pretty good, and the service is fast! Cash only but there are ATM’s inside and all up and down the street. This place caters to the college right across the street so tons of students at lunch time. Great if you’re looking for a quick slice, or to get a pie for take out.

Nothing too special, good pizza(I love the Mushroom). They have the classics, plain, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and a few«special» ones such as fresh mozz and chicken broccoli. the meat ones tend to be a lil more greasy. The guys are great and the lady up front is sweet. One of the better options in the food desert the surrounds LaGuardia College. there is little to no A/c so it stays warm in there. Dont be too shy to ask to share a table but don’t be pushy either.

I’m not a huge fan of their pizza, but at least they’re right across the street from my school. Much better than eating at the Jamaican place, but the pizza is doughy and never very crisp. They do not take credit cards, and the tables are always filthy.

Prezzemo reminds me of a school cafeteria a little. Shout out to all the LaGuardia College students eating on a budget, which I think packs the place giving it most of it’s business. When school is in session, the place is packed but on the weekend there’s hardly anyone there. There’s no paper menu laying around. And I think it’s mainly pizza and miscellaneous pizzeria offerings, no pasta, etc. The only ordering system is based on the chalk board menu above the oven and what’s on display. Regular: $ 2.25 Sicilian: $ 2.25 Chicken: $ 3.25 Margherita, White… $ 2.75 Whole Pie: $ 13 Whole Sicilian: $ 15 Calzones: $ 4.50 There’s always garlic bread and usually chicken wings but they don’t appear too appetizing. The pizza itself is only a little above mediocre especially a fresh pie right out the oven; when reheated still good but then it’s like average. But still, the pizza is good. Thin to medium soft crust, less crispy more Italian style bread consistency. The sauce is more on the sweet side and running a little loose with only a hint of clump. The cheese is stringy when hot and can get oily, but that’s what I like about pizza, oozing cheese not plastic, again better when fresh made. —The Sicilian slices are not bad but not great either Why do so many pizzerias have shakers that never dispense the spices or Parmesan properly? This place included and there is a sign posted saying Do Not Open them. So you’re standing at the stand shaking and shaking because some people like me like a little extra pepper on their pizza. Prezzemo is no specialty or worthy of traveling to but one won’t be disappointed here. —They have my favorite Ice Tea: Gold Peak —Fountain Drinks and two fridges of Snapple, Soda, etc… —Television(Low Volume and sometimes in Spanish) —Dim lighting with a direct view of entrance to the E Building of LaGuardia College —Restroom Available —ATM Inside

Pleasantly surprised! I ordered a plain slice, which was cheesier than a standard NY slice(no complaints from me). I also tried 2 buffalo wings(which can be ordered for 75 cents each) and they were surprisingly tender and had a mild kick without being saucy. Thanks to Meghan P. for recommending!

Right across the street from LaGuardia CC, Pizzeria Prezzemo serves up a typical NY slice. With quick turnaround and plenty of seating, I’m sure I will be a regular. Today I tried pepperoni, which was cut from a whole pepperoni pie(not just a few discs of pepperoni thrown on and re-heated). The crust was puffy but thin, and there was not too much sauce. It was a gooey, cheesy mess and I loved every minute of it.

When I am tired after teaching, they offer a solid, tasty and cheesy slice of ‘za at a decent price. The chicken slice is easily a couple of huge tenders chopped and artfully dumped atop a thick smattering of cheese, a thin layer of sauce, and a crispy crust. I have also ordered a slice of sausage. Since they had none available, they LOADED a cheese slice with yummy mild sausage slices. With a bottle of diet coke, either option is a great lunch for less than 5.00. While I have yet to splurge, the garlic knots and calzones look equally delicious. While not gourmet, the food is inexpensive and consistently tasty, the kitchen open and clean, and the staff friendly
