Specialties
We’re known for pioneering design in custom-made fine jewelry as well as ready-made fashion jewelry. The company has two locations: a private atelier in midtown (fine jewelry) as well as a public retail store in the East Village (fashion jewelry).
Linhardt Design merges its progressive «wearable sculpture» with the highest principles of sustainability by utilizing recycled precious metals and responsibly-sourced stones from around the world.
New York Magazine has coined Linhardt the «green jeweler» and has recognized the gallery as a «Critics’ Pick: Best of New York.» Linhardt jewelry has been featured as the subject of the Sundance Channel’s series «New Revolutionaries» as well various fashion shoots in Vogue Magazine (Italy, China, America), Harpers Bazaar (Japan, US), and Numero (France); and has been worn by Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen and Alicia Keys.

Meet the Business Owner
Lisa L.
Business Owner
Lisa Linhardt is the Founder and Creative director of Linhardt Design. Lisa is a trained goldsmith and silversmith in addition to being a designer, with a recognizable style of creating work that resembles an object or sculpture rather than a piece of jewelry.
Lisa’s experience working with many fine jewelry clients with a vast range of styles makes her extremely versatile as a designer, as her inspiration often comes from the individual. Lisa is known for having an uncanny ability to assess and translate a complete stranger’s style into a physical adornment — which makes her high in demand as a custom jeweler. Although Lisa’s fashion line has a non-classical look, she is traditionally trained and understands the engineering of how to make a successful piece both technically and aesthetically.
