While in search of an engagement ring, I was given Gaurav’s contact information from a trusted friend.
Working with Gaurav on the project of selecting an engagement ring was truly a blessing. He is a gem of a guy, with the patience of a saint and willingness to help in anyway possible. From day one, he was willing to guide me with selecting the various specs and qualities that go into choosing the diamond.
The ring setting I had in mind was available but very expensive. We worked with a ring designer to create a 3D digital model of the ring which was in turn 3D printed in wax. After this, the ring was created and turned out better than I could have ever expected (better than the ring it was modeled off of), at a much more affordable cost.
I am writing this review a few weeks after my proposal, and I can happily say my fiancé could not have dreamt of a better ring! Thanks to Gaurav, and his hard work, this all was possible. If I had to go through the process again, I would select Gaurav in a heart beat.

My husband learned of Mercury Jewels and Gaurav through a friend so he knew it would be a professional and thorough process for my engagement ring. What he didn’t know was that Gaurav would exceed all expectations, so much so that we went with Mercury Jewels for our wedding bands too! The service was top notch, all the rings were polished before the wedding. We were even able to meet at times and locations convenient to us. Gaurav talked us through all the possible options for wedding bands, offering his opinion and even showing us his own wedding band in the process. It was just a very honest, relaxed, easy experience which was super refreshing given the wedding planning process!

I typically don’t write reviews and I have to say Gaurav of Mercury Jewelers is an upfront and genuine nice guy. I went to him about a year ago and was blown away about how honest he was about pricing. He has a lot a patience and is a no pressure type of person. He will do everything possible to get you the best possible diamond for your budget. I recommended many of my friends to him and all of them had very different budgets. All of them had basically similar feelings and were happy with their purchases. He is a class-​act and I will continue to send him people. There are a few people you can honestly trust in the diamond industry. So many of them are trying to give you poor quality diamonds or rip you off but Gaurav is unlike others. Most importantly my wife is still blown away by the ring how it continues to shine.

Gaurav was highly recommended from a trusting friend who recently got engaged. So I thought I’d check it. Turns our my buddy was right, Gaurav was easy to talk to and was extremely available to chat at any time of day/​night. I live in California so it was no walk in the park for Gaurav to work with me. I gave my specifications and pictures of my ring (designed on blue nile) to him and he worked to ensure that I got what I was looking for.
I flew into to NYC for the weekend to try and get the ring made that very weekend. Unfortunately the ring took a bit longer to make so he shipped the finished product (insured) to me at my work office in Cali. He assured me that if anything were to happen he would replace the ring. The transaction went extremely smooth.
Hence. I got engaged! My fiancé loved the ring. However, the ring was a little big and over time it became really uncomfortable. My fiancé was not 100% satisfied. I called Gaurav and he simply asked for me to send it back to him (insured) and he got the ring all fixed up and sent back in less than a week.
Now my fiancé is a happy camper and so am I. And so the story goes…

I was looking to get a diamond necklace for my Mother in time for her Birthday and saw that they had some amazing reviews. I contacted them through the e-​mail on their website and I received a response within an hour! In no time, I had already spoken to someone on the phone and set up an appointment to come in and check out some options. I expressed that I was on a tight schedule and needed something in a matter of days, which was no problem for them. I was able to get a beautiful diamond necklace for my mother well within my budget and now I know where I will be going for my future engagement ring.

I went to Shivani for my wedding bands and I could not be happier! Since I’m not normally ring wearer, it was important for me to find something that was simple, yet beautiful on it’s own. I walked in with a particular band on my mind, but upon trying it on, it just didn’t look right. Shivani was really helpful and displayed great aesthetic sense by selecting various other styles of bands which she felt would suit me better. I felt she really listened to what I was looking for and more importantly, stayed within my budget while still showing me beautiful bands. I’m really happy with my band and know where I will be going once I upgrade my engagement ring!

My wife and I got our wedding rings here, and we’re extremely happy with the service we recieved. While it’s small, and not what you traditionally would expect of a place where you buy jewelry, it’s more personal, cheaper, and much more safe than buying at a storefront reseller.
