Laundromat Wash & Dry

This is the worst laundromat around. It’s expensive, and it’s unmanned. Yes, there are no staff present to help, unless it’s closing time, then the staff are darn sure to make an appearance to close up and go home. If you do have a problem you have to call a number posted on the wall and leave a voice mail. This is supposed to be an actual acceptable replacement for present, living staff. There are so many things wrong with this place, and one only thing right about it is It’s the only laundromat in the area.
I decided to write this because they arbitrarily decided to change their closing time on Sunday to 7pm. Considering they have no phone or internet site there is literally no way for a customer to have known this, other than to have shown after 7, finding the place is closed, after lugging my laundry all the way there.
And what did I see inside? Well, the staff had made their appearance after all, they pointing to the new «7» pasted on the door where the 8 used to be. This gesture of pointing and mouthing through the closed door is what I assume meant they now closed at 7. What a rancid thing to do! Close at 7 on one of the week’s busiest laundry nights! I had to lug my laundry home and look for other place to go.
This places knows they are the only laundromat in town and operate liberally within these non-​existent constraints. I hope that some people will see this, and boycott this place for a better facility. Still, it’s so easy to get to this place that until a competitor comes along, I realize I’ll probably boycotting alone.

As others have said, machines and general space are unclean. Once a washing machine jammed with my wet clothes in it and it took two days for the owner to visit the shop and open it (the random attendants can’t assist with any major problems). The coin machines are often broken and the washing machines eat your quarters. One star for being the closest to my place but I now walk the extra blocks to a more reliable cleaners.

This is probably the WORST place to do laundry! Unfortunately it’s so close to where I live that convenience plays a huge factor. The dryers are so horrible that my clothes are still damp after. Some of the washing machines has a strange odor! There is graffiti on the outside that has been there for well over a year and is very unflattering considering the neighborhood. The window looks like someone tried to throw rocks at it. The owner literally doesn’t care about fixing anything here, he just comes to collect his money.

This is a very decent laundromat in my hood, and I have not had the problems that others have mentioned about them closing early; in fact on at least one occasion that I can recall they remained open and operating until almost 9PM. Perhaps that was unusual, I don’t know, since I’ve come there at various times of the day over the years.
Also, I’ve never had one of their machines fail on me, although I guess that could happen anywhere too.

Unfortunately had to change my review after having two dryers fail on me — i.e. I came in and pull clothes that we still drenched. *Sigh* on to the next one…

Take your laundry here to make it dirty. Poor machines, overpriced, filthy and rundown facility.
The machines _​routinely_​fail to work. Many will take your coins … and then not work. Nearly all run for _​less_​than the indicated time. That is, the 30 minutes you thought you paid for on the dryer is actually 25 minutes, or even just 20. The time was so consistently off that I filed a complaint with consumer protection.
As bad (or worse, depending on your priorities) the machines are filthy. Do NOT look into the tub where you add detergent. There has been stuff growing there since the 1950s.
There is a person ‘working’ there. I have no idea what she does. I’m not sure she has any idea either.
Forget about getting your money back if the machines steal it.

Laundromat closes at 7pm when it’s supposed to close at 8. Me and 6+ other people got locked out completely. I called the number on the wall for help 30+ times. My clothes sat sitting sopping wet in a washer all night, and I had to go down at 7am before work to rewash them and put it in the dryer, also having to call in late to work to do so.

This place is a no frills, coin operated laundromat. Echoing the last review washes are $ 2.50 (small) or $ 4.00 (large) but dryers are $.25 for 8 mins, contrary to the sign saying $.25 for 7 mins. The machines are new and have digital time displays which is nice, especially for newbies. The change machine only excepts up to $ 10 bills so for most people this is a pain.
The hours are a bit lame (closes at 8pm) and there only a few seats but its a no frills laundromat. If you don’t want to pay for wash and fold and live in the neighborhood this isn’t a bad option.

Horrible laundromat. Attendant often leaves early and you’re locked out. Phone number listed just goes to voicemail. Closes at 8pm, what a joke.

This is the absolute worst laundromat I have ever been to.
— The place is filthy. Super dusty and people’s left over take out boxes all over the counters
— Very few machines. You literally have to stalk people for their washer/​dryer.
— The washers are $ 4/​load and they say they are triple load. I’m not sure what they mean by triple since they definitely don’t hold triple the amount of clothes.
— The machines are old and destroy your clothes. The dryer kept sucking in my t-​shirts. I kept having to stop the machine and yank them out. It left black crud all over them that still can’t be removed.
— Quarters only and the machine only accepts $ 1/​$ 5
It was my first time and after leaving I promised myself I would never return. I’ll haul my laundry an extra few blocks or pay for wash and fold instead.

I hate this place. And it might be unfair because I just don’t like how far it is from me, but it’s actually the closest.
It also looks like it’s unfinished, like they’re still doing construction.
The machines seem new and work well. There is nowhere to sit and having to deal with quarters is always a pain. I guess I’m going with wash and fold service.

I would definitely come back here again to do laundry. As far as I could tell, this laundromat is only for do-​it-​yourself laundry (not wash & fold or dry-​cleaning). I arrived at 7:15 p.m. on a Tuesday night, and there were plenty of machines open (and a couple others doing laundry). The quarter machine accepts $ 1 & $ 5 bills, and there were a ton of rolling baskets and two tables for folding clean clothes. Washing costs $ 2.50 for the smaller machines (it looked like $ 4 for the larger ones?!). Drying is $.25 per 7 minutes. I had one load of whites and one load of colors, so I put them in two separate machines. These dryers are HUGE – the whites load dried in 28 minutes ($ 1) and the colors load which was a little larger required 35 minutes ($ 1.25).
When I return, I will probably use two small washers for the sorted loads and then cram everything into one of the huge dryers and dry it for a little longer. :P
The place was very well-​lit and looked clean. On the down-​side, there were only 3 chairs so I sat in one of them but I’m not sure where everyone else is supposed to wait when it gets crowded haha. I guess you could head across the street to the Starbucks if you really wanted to. As it got closer to closing time, an employee came in and swept the floor.
