If I could give 0 stars I would.
Delivery of frozen yogurt and a bag of popcorn took over 2 hours, even though I was initially quoted 30 – 45 min. I called multiple times and was always told 5 more minutes. When I called at the 2 hour mark. I was told sorry this is just a mistake and we are busy too– would not offer any discounts, refunds or even an apology; instead he tried to justify the 2 hour wait.
Will NEVER give them a penny again, not even due to the long wait, but the poor customer service and embarrassingly bad businesses practices.

2 hour delivery with both wrong and missing items. After calling and complaining, the delivery guy showed back up (unannounced, scaring the hell out of me), and tried to tell me that what I ordered was «kind of like [what I received]» and that I should be happy with it. Thank you, sir, but you are not my mother. Also, I paid you for this. Also, you tried to fight my refund.
The Irish in me is vowing not to sleep until this place is closed forever. The Midwestern in me is settling for this passive aggressive Unilocal review.
Sigh.

If I could give –10 stars I would. Forget the horrible service; the people who run thos business are crooks and liars.
I’ve ordered delivery from here a few times, and there has always been an issue. Why reorder? Well, they have a type of popsicle that, for whatever reason, is the only thing that makes me feel better when I’m sick. The human body is weird.
Well, they’ve finally crossed the line from poor service and rudeness to outright fraud. Sick again, I placed an order for my popsicles, including a few extras. Par for the course, the order shows up 90 minutes past the estimate. It also shows up without ¹⁄₃ of my order and with a completely different type of popsicle (like getting Pepsi if you ordered seltzer). Unsurprisingly, the three most expensive items were either missing (2) or wrong (1). I call to tell them about their mistake, and say I don’t want them to resend the items (another 2 hrs), just take them off the bill. They say they will. They also send back the delivery guy to pick up the popsicles, which– fine, take them please… But maybe tell me someone will be knocking on my door unannounced?
A week later I notice the charge has not been amended so I call Seamless, who calls them on my behalf. They claim the order was complete (???) and I never called them with any issues (???), and that I’m lying about the missing item and the fact that they sent back their delivery guy to pick up the returned item. They deign to refund one juice.
WTF?! I want my money back for my overpriced, delayed, missing items… But mostly, I want the people who work there to stop gaslighting their customers and being shady AF.

Their deli is solid– really awesome cooks and solid guys.
However this is also the most overpriced bodega in the LES. Hands down. Almost everything is marked up at least two dollars in comparison to even the bodega a block over on Stanton or the one on Rivington and Orchard. Just a rip off. Stop in if you want a sandwich or a shake but stay AWAY from the grocery area and save your money.
Much like I can’t seem to pay more than $ 35 at Trader Joe’s no matter how much I buy, I can’t seem to go below $ 20 here even if I’m just getting some rice cakes, soup, and cheese.

Worst delivery experience. I ordered at 7:41 and it left the shop at 7:51 and it got here at 9:42. When I called, the man hung up on me. Not only did it take 2 hours, but I ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel and I got a bagel with just egg. I literally never write reviews but I had to share this after seeing other similar reviews.

don’t get delivery! my bagel showed up so burnt it was black. then they refused to redeliver another bagel because they were too busy. awful service and burnt food.
never again!!!

Lemme start off by saying I have not gotten delivery from this place yet, so no comment there.
However, as far as deli’s go it’s definitely one of the better ones in the area. Their breakfast wraps are on fk’ing point, one of the best I have ever had. Sandwiches are good (not out of this world tho) and fairly priced. Get quality at a respectable price. Salads and rice dishes are good stuff, and again, quality and a fair price. Coffee gets the approval as well, they do a respectable cup o’ joe. However, the prices on everything else there are a bit high, but that’s expected. And, for the most part the guys behind the counter are cordial. This place is a regular for me.

Uhm… No. «30−45 mins» was an hour and a half. I called a few times. Last time, some story about a flat tire. Funny that didn’t come up the first call.
The wrap we ordered was delivered flaccid and stone cold. The site says ramen noodles are $ 2.99 for «6pk». I ordered 2 orders. I received 2 packets. The wrap was so skinny it may as well have been called a quesadilla. Except, quesadillas are delicious and this was not. So let’s not insult the quesadilla. The ‘salad’ of freezer burnt cucumber and dead lettuce with 3 shreds of undressed carrots made me feel like doubling up on my SSRI’s for the day. The «fresh» in «freshco’s» is rather deceitful. Even if you’re a stoner with serious munchies, it’s best to stay away.

This place is great. The sandwiches are awesome. You can get food, booze and/​or groceries delivered at ANY hour of the day. However, delivery times are extremely inconsistent. They will either be at your front door in 15 min or in a hour and a half.

I ordered a few items for delivery from here at 7:00pm. The estimated delivery time was 8:15. I called at 9:15 when I still did not have my delivery, and they said it was on its way and would be 10 more minutes. 10:00 rolls around – still no delivery, so I call again. I am told it is on its way and will be there in 10 minutes. I try to cancel at this point and get the response that it’s not possible since the delivery is out.
I waited 3 and a half hours for an incomplete order and damaged goods. Absolutely the worst. Save your money and your sanity and stay away.

AMAZING! It’s SO HARD to find delicious and filling salads in this part of the city and this place did it! Reasonably priced too!

I have been ordering delivery in nyc for almost 13 years and have never had a worse experience with a delivery person than one from this place.
He returned after delivering our groceries and accused us of having a bagel for another customer. After we told him we didn’t have it, he demanded to see for himself, trying to come into the apartment. After we were able to close the door and lock it, he returned several minutes later with another guy and they both banged on the door. It was the most terrifying delivery experience I’ve had to deal with. They were not only extremely aggressive and chauvinistic, they crossed a serious line of legal and basic human interaction.

First of all, kudos to this place for offering so, so many vegan options for someone like me. It’s not often that a deli would have one, much less more than one, options for a veg.
But what I ordered was disappointing. I had a tofu scramble that had sundried tomatoes, spinach, and onion in it. Slapped on top of it was some vegan cheddar cheese that tasted like it was solid salt brine. It did come with a bagel, and that was the saving grace of my lunch break.
Their bagels with cream cheese are pretty solid. I got the tofu cream cheese and it’s not too much, not too little. And it’s not $ 4 like almost everywhere else. I will order from here again, but I hate the $ 15 minimum on Grubhub. After my first experience, I’m not likely to order anything from their food menu besides bagel and cream cheese. $ 15 worth of bagels with tofu cream cheese, anyone?

Ordered delivery from here last night, it took an hour, but that was fine since we are over 2 miles away. The food was good, sandwiches were well made. Very fresh.

Went to this deli/​convenience story this weekend to see if my husband and I could grab a quick bite. The sandwiches and the prices were great. Considering how healthy and fresh the food was, I would have expected the cost to be higher I was pleasantly surprised. The service and the attitudes of the gentlemen working behind the food counter was amazing! I want to come back just because of them!

The man behind the sandwich counter is a sandwich master! Best sandwiches in NYC.

Freshco is 5 stars for both food and service. I could (and sometimes do!) eat their Vegan Moroccan Tofu Scramble 3 times a day! Even my meat-​loving, tofu-​hating friends like it. Their salads are fresh and come with lots of great toppings. And their balsamic dressing is delicious. All in all, the deli is great — it offers delicious and healthy options and they always follow all of my annoying special requests.
In terms of customer service, they are the nicest people. If they are ever out of a grocery item I order (via Seamless), they will call immediately and make sure they find a great alternative.

Best fresh juices — i always order juices from here. Reasonable priced and really good combinations. This was a major upgrade for the neighborhood — replaced a less cared-​for spot.

Wanted to like this place. Just got a Morrocan Chicken salad which is suppose to come with sun dried tomatoes, mixed greens, onions, roasted red peppers and of course the spicy harrisa with chicken.
Just came home, opened the container and all I have is the mixed greens with PLAIN chicken.
I live just down the block but was so upset. I walked out only realizing they overcharged me and on top of it forget half the ingredients in my salad!
