Glass that separates the liquor and the customers reminds buyers just how dangerous the Lower East Side used to be in the 80s and 90s.
Staff may not speak much english, but just come in knowing what you want and your choice of medicine. Don’t expect them to give expert advise or tips on what to drink.
The store has been open for the longest time, and I will surely miss passing by once it’s really gone.
The huge giant empty bottles in the display window are also up for sale if any of you Unilocalers need some home décor.

What a poor excuse for a liquor store. For starters, it was sweltering in here, no ac, no form of ventilation, how am I supposed to shop for JD in a comfortable, alcohol filled environment. When I finally came to a resolution about which wine to purchase, the store owner had no clue where the items were, even though he was standing right in front of them.
«You need DIS one!!!» I don’t think he understood me very well, it could also just be me.
After painstakingly selecting two bottles, I decided we might need another bottle. However, the store owner proceeded to wander off to the side going about his own business when we CLEARLY were not done shopping. The wine was was finally procured after much deliberation and sweat.

This place is super ghetto but the prices are what you need when you need to save money on liquor. I’m investing the saving in a fund to buy a new liver when the time comes.

For me this place is all about LOCATION! I can grab a quick bottle and catch the bus over the bridge headed home, or on the way to a party in the city. this place is locked up tight, you can’t touch a thing unless the owner deems you worth.
Whenever i go here there is a very nice Asian woman who i can never understand, but gets what im saying just fine. She is also awesome at knowing just what im pointing at even if im way off… i think she’s a drink ninja or something? Anyway go here, its super quick and steps away frm the Bus and Train.
