I loved the sales people (Jason and Harin) they were patient, informative and not at all pushy. There is a plethora of mid– century adapted designs here– modern and pertinent — quality at an accessible price.

After weeks of trying to email and chat with customer service I cannot get a simple ship date. I’ve requested a refund now twice and cannot get a confirmation on that either. I like the light fixture I ordered, but for over $ 800 I would like just a tad bit of customer service. A month later and still no light fixture.

Terrible customer service. They called to schedule the delivery, my husband missed work to stay home to receive it, and they never showed up. Finally, days later, when the shipment arrived. The pieces were damaged (literally, chair legs sticking out of the box). We called to complain and return the items (we were so annoyed, we didn’t want any of the chairs any more), and we were told we have to pay $ 75 to return them. We live in NYC and even if we return our items to the store, they will *still* charge us $ 75. Ridiculous!
Separately, their furniture looks really cheap for the price. Don’t waste your money or time.

This is just a review of the company in itself — Terrible logistics where they claimed to have items in stock. Two months and about 7 calls later, they no longer carried them. Absolutely no courtesy to email or call to tell inform me about it. Pretty on the outside, ugly on the inside. Do not waste your time.

Worst experience ever!!! Purchased 8 chairs from the store and got a call a week later saying that they don’t have any in stock and offered other options. I chose another style of chairs and a couple of days later, a rep call and said they are one chair short. Just how difficult is it to keep track of inventory? This morning I called to check on the status, that one chair won’t arrive until late August. That’s not the worst… I almost found out that the price of the chair has been marked down to $ 199. How can you mark down on a chair that don’t even have in stock?!! Stay away

Bought a clock and it worked for 5 months and 1 day it stopped working. Couldnt exchange or return it. The warranty was supposed to be for 12 months. Not cheap either.

I ordered 4 chairs online from these guys for free delivery to Los Angeles. The shipping was a really good deal considering this package weighed 100 lbs and was delivered on a palette from New York. I didn’t have any issues with the chairs and they all look great. They were each individually wrapped up and packaged with care. The delivery company that the business used was reliable and provided good service. The only issue I had was that my order was delayed 3X because it had been on back order and took over an extra month from what was originally quoted. It was still well worth the wait.

Stay away from this place. Arrogant customer service. Bad logistics. So they claim they have free delivery but actually their white glove service is more than double of West Elm or CB2 .
On top of that their logistics providers are untrained and unprofessional (said they would deliver at a time and no courtesy to call that they would be late). Granted some of their furniture is pretty but overall it’s an unprofessional out fit .
And talking about the customer service, they botched up my delivery (got size wrong when I had specifically told them dimensions of elevator). The other piece that got delivered was broken. After having wasted an entire Saturday of mine they actually believed that they done everything right when I called. 0⁄10 for customer satisfaction.

Seems like the actual store might be legit, but stay away from the website! Terrible cheap replicas, even worse customer service and failure to refund money for returned items! This is everything you don’t want in an online customer experience!

I was a little skeptical about ordering from France & Son, having never heard of them, but they had a great deal on a beautiful pendant light, and I decided to go for it. They were really easy to deal with on the phone, and the shipping was super-​fast.
When the box arrived, it was very carefully packed, the cardboard box being encased in a wooden crate. We hooked up the lamp and it didn’t work. I called the company, and was immediately connected to someone knowledgable who walked me through the installation process. When I had tried all the steps he recommended, he said that they had sold tons of these lamps, had never had a problem reported, but volunteered to immediately send a new cord and socket assembly with expedited shipping — it arrived a few days latter, I installed it, and it works perfectly.
In short, I got a great lamp at a great price with unbeatable customer service. This will not be my last France & Son order!

Love this store. Love my amazing Papa Bear Chair. Gorgeous, mid-​century modern, sexy, orange, comfy greatness. And huge thanks to manager Ryan Wong who spent nearly an hour going over swatches and dealing with my neuroses. Ryan is amazing with an incredible eye for design. He’s so talented and smart, and the chair is perfect. Really brightens my living space. We love it. There was a sight issue with delivery, but the customer service rep was very apologetic and the chair got delivered the very next day, only three days after I purchased it. Now I have to buy a cool reading lamp to go next to it. Visit this store on a weekend so you can get the dynamic duo of Charles and Ryan!

Stay away!
I was looking for a Eero Saarinen tulip dining room table and thought this would be a good replica. Nowhere on their site does it say that their version is 2 inches lower than a standard height dining room table. It felt so weird and uncomfortable and you better be sure that the chairs you buy are also lower. Yikes! Discrepancies on their description as well: i.e. walnut veneer top and solid marble top both listed under this same item. What?
When I asked to return it, it suddenly became clear that the «free shipping» they advertise on their site is not free at all. Not unless you keep the item. To return it I had to find a company to ship it back to them myself, which cost me $ 300 AND they charged me back over $ 260 which is what they originally paid to ship it to me they said…
So $ 560 later, a very expensive lesson indeed.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!!
