Have lived in the area for 6 years and just discovered this hidden gem. Simply the Best!!!

As previously stated very basic and clean establishment. Quiet and friendly place. Reasonable pricing.

Amazing! The owner is funny, the service is great. No frills but you walk out with a great mani/pedi every single time. Without fail. Moving east but I’ll definitely make the effort to come back here still. So worth it. The manager lady is a bit strange(and mean) but that’s the only negative thing I have to say.

Quickest and best manicure that I’ve had in years! Today was my first time at this particular nail salon and it definitely won’t be the last!

Finally, a nail salon with some warmth to the experience. Everyone was NICE! Seriously, for that alone, four stars. And the mani pedi was good. And it was reasonably priced. There was not really any décor or ambiance. That’s the only down side. But it was clean and again, there was a warmth and friendliness I have not experienced at any other nail salon in NYC. Will definitely be back.

This is my favorite salon on the UWS(and I have tried a lot of them). It is not the most beautiful salon but they make up for it in skill and attentiveness. The staff is very friendly and the price is pretty great -$ 35 for a french manicure and pedicure.

Bang-for-the-buck is unbeatable. Quick and good mani/pedi for 32 bucks! Perfect for a weekly treat. The place is definitely not lovely but well, ultimately, I want cuticule to be cut and polish applied. And the ladies there are nice so it is fine. I personally think that UV lamp are not good for your thin hand skin so it doesn’t bother me but know that the nail dryer have no UV lamp.

A very no-frills but clean salon. My nail tech was very attentive and gave me a great mani-pedi for $ 32. I’ll definitely be back!

I agree with Alyssa(see her review below). Definitely bare bones salon. No ambiance. Very basic. Mani and pedi is $ 32. Nail selection is ok. Opi, Essie, color club. I didn’t have to wait. My nails look great! I was in a jam coming from equinox and needed a quickie place for nails and this was the spot I Unilocaled. I would recommend if you need a quick spot for a good mani and don’t care if it’s kinda ugly inside. The foot and hand massages were longer than I expected.

This place is great. The nail techs are super nice and go out of their way to make you feel pampered. I got a fabulous gel pedicure for $ 45. Highly recommended!

Consistently, the best NYC Mani Pedi for the price I’ve ever had. My wife and I always look forward to coming back! They take their time, are exactingly thorough and always very pleasant.

I gave this place 4 stars for value. They do a good job with manis and pedis and their prices are competitive for the area. This is not a fancy place by any means so if that is what you are looking for, this is not the place for you. They do get busy and sometimes there is a long wait so better to make an appt just in case.

Unfriendly staff, you probably need to speak Korean for more then basic communication. Skill so poor which is eye opening. Definitely not trained professionally and not clean either. They shape my nail with one principle: cut as much as possible, risking cutting the flash is ok and they did hurt my finger tips. No attention to detail for applying nail polish either, just filling all the possible space of nail with color, not trying to apply differently for the edge. In short, really poor skill and efficiency and result, I stayed for 2 hours and left with awful result. good price for the location, but so what.

Just moved the the neighborhood and I’ve been on the hunt for a new cheapie spot. Thank goodness my friend just introduced me to this place. It’s got exactly what I was looking for. I am not the type to want or need a plush spa experience when it comes to pedicures. I am just allergic to paying more than $ 30 for a pedicure in NY. This spot is just $ 32 for a mani pedi. It’s got comfy massage pedicure chairs, trashy magazines, a visible sterlizer for tools, and good enough techinicians. Even better, there is almost never a wait for walk ins and you can make an appointment same day. Done and done! Only complaint is the limited selection of OPI nail colors. They have several, but not as wide as some other salons.

Whenever I have time between yoga classes, I hop in here for a quickie mani/pedi. They’re terrific for that and they’re prices are more than reasonable for the neighborhood. It’s pretty no-frills but your bang-for-the-buck is fair. I would however, end the niceties there. The technicians aren’t the friendliest bunch and if you’re looking for a UV gel manicure I’d tell you to hightail it out immediately. I made the mistake of getting a gel manicure and it came out horribly. Unfortunately I was in a rush to get to work up the street or I would have made mention of it, but at that point I just wanted out. For starters, the technician made me go to the bathroom to wash my hands. Excuse me? I’ve NEVER had to do that at any other salon. THEN, she has the nerve to change the colors on me — insisting all the while the colors are the same(like hell they were. Granted, they were bright red metallics but I could see they were different. I don’t know if she thought the first bottle was just old and wanted to switch it out or what, but there it is…). Finally, her skill level was just poor. The color looked blotchy and I had a client later on comment to me that, «Gee Gail, your nails usually look so nice…». So please, take my advice and stay away from the gel manicures. Oh, and I paid $ 35 for that botch-job too. Stick with the regular mani-pedis. You can’t go wrong.

i’ve been here twice. it’s sort of a hole in the wall as far as UWS is concerned, but satisfactory. The prices are good for the neighborhood, but considering the $ 5 mani is still alive and well in bk and uptown, ehh. Staff is friendly and helpful, but the treatment itself is basic. No spa like scrubs or massages or anything,

This place is NOT cute. If you are looking for a nice place to relax go to Pinkys.
