History

Established in 1974.

American Leak Detection (ALD) was founded and is headquartered in Palm Springs, California. With more than 140 offices in eight countries, technicians have detected more than 5 million leaks, saving customers millions of dollars in costly repairs. The company is dedicated to water conservation, resource protection and providing eco-​friendly services.

The NY office of a ALD proudly serves the 5 boroughs of NY, Long Island and the Hudson River valley. Established in 2011, it is staffed by a team of technicians who utilize the advanced training and tools developed over the 38 years in addition to their extensive experience in the roofing, pool service, and building contracting industries to enable our customers to find leaks of any nature. Our office specializes in infrared thermography inspections of building envelopes, Roof/​vapor barrier/​waterproof membrane vector analysis, and sealant inspections using ultrasonic frequencies.
