After taking an unfortunate, though short, hiatus from brazilians, I was quite nervous about finding a new esthetician after moving. Honestly, I just went with the vibe I got from the website in reference to others I could find in my immediate area.
So, by trusting my internet gut, I decided Melissa would be a good person to trust.
I was pretty thrilled! Surprised, even. She is extremely friendly, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. The latter being something I have experienced little of in this field. I never met an esthetician before where I didn’t have to wonder in the back of my head if she actually had education and confidence in what she was doing. Melissa was nerding out over the roots of my hair follicles and getting excited about the progress. It reminded me of a person who has convinced me without having to say the words that they’re actually passionate about what they do.
It was a bit painful, but — having taken breaks from waxing before — I know that is just because it’s been a while and I’m not used to it. I’m excited to have found my spot to frequent in a new city!

Melissa was friendly, professional, skilled and very quick! I got a full leg wax and it was relatively painless. Perfect temperature, perfect application, perfect removal. I felt very comfortable with Melissa. We chatted and also held graceful silence. I would recommend her to friends, strangers, anyone!
