R & R Auto of Needham

My family and I have required services of Bobby at R & R Auto of Needham on three separate occasions over the past couple of years. Each and every time, I have found Bobby to be professional, funny, honest and extremely diligent. In fact, some of the issues that Ashley S. complains about (even though she NEVER has actually used his services) were probably her mis-​understanding about what is ‘same work’-as Bobby has located additional issues/​/​problems that my insurance company’s insurance adjuster missed EVERY TIME. Bobby’s ability to completely understand cars and to understand what happens-​in/​/​after an accident is un-​matched and worthy of your business and confidence. As a resident of Needham, I consider Bobby to be a wonderful neighbor and am happy to have him and his business in our community.

I could not have had a more different experience than Ashley S. I took my car to R&R after a serious run-​in with a deer. The owner, Bobby, was friendly and attentive and gave me several options for how he could fix the car. He promised to call around the next day to see if he could find a matching door and fender and would then give me a quote. He called my cell the next afternoon and gave me a very competitive quote. I dropped the car off later that day and he completed the work in a timely and professional fashion. I couldn’t even tell there had been a problem and trust me the damage was severe. Icing on the cake? He washed the car and scrubbed the wheels which had been an absolute mess. All in all an incredibly positive experience. I’ve since recommended R&R to others and will be going back in the unfortunate event of another accident…

Wow. Price gouging at it’s finest… and for no reason whatsoever. Owner must think that just because his shop is in Needham, customers don’t care how much he charges for repair work and are just willing to write blank checks. My husband went to him for an estimate on his car and was given an outrageously high price… then we went to another nearby shop for a second opinion… and guess what? $ 1500 less. For the same work. FOR. THE. SAME. WORK! Not like… oh we don’t have to replace that door, we can just repaint it and it will be less expensive… I mean APPLES TO APPLES… the exact same replacement parts, paint, etc., and it was almost double the cost at R and R. Needless to say we took the car to another shop, and boy are we glad we did… Do your homework, people!
