Can’t say enough good things about this shop. Took my car in for a few issues and Niso brought to my attention a few others things I should consider getting fixed. They also took care of dealing with the other drivers’ insurance for getting body work done that I needed that had occured many, many months prior. There was great with communication while they had my car, and gave it back to me sparkling clean. I couldn’t have been happier. When you are spending big bucks on major repairs, this is the kind of service you expect.

This is my first time using BFM, and I’m thrilled. My 3 day old Maserati was badly hail damaged, and I was quoted 3 weeks needed at panel shop to fix it. Niso did it in 3 days. He dealt with insurance co, and picked me up & dropped me off. His work is excellent, my car looks like new, and his service is fantastic. I’ll never go anywhere else for repairs.

Fantastic first experience at Brookline Foreign Motors! I had several totally separate issues that needed to be addressed (a broken bumper, hail damage and brake repairs) and they got everything done incredibly fast without sacrificing on quality — it came out great.
I worked with Niso who was super responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. He was very honest and upfront about the work and kept me in the loop while working with my insurance company. Everyone there made what I thought would be a stressful ordeal, very painless. I highly recommend them!

Excellent experience (1st time) with Brookline Foreign Motors on the airmatic front strut replacement on my Mercedes E55. Initially, I dealt with Niso on the quote. Went by on Friday and he put the car up on the lift and had the mechanics look at the car at no charge. Then he quoted a reasonable rate for the labor and alignment. I told him I’d bring the car by on Monday, late morning. He said he wouldn’t be in on Monday, but that Fred would take care of me.
Separately, I had bought a remanufactured strut from Arnott which arrived by FedEx ground from their facility in FL on Sat. Perfect.
Today (Monday) I dropped the car off with Fred and went to lunch in Brookline Village (nice new Thai restaurant). About 90 mins later they called and said the car was ready. Been driving it since, and seems to be driving great. Fred was very friendly and responsive. I’m not sure of the business relationship between those two guys — neither do the mechanical work — but they both seem very knowledgeable and seem to have a lot of industry knowledge. They also seem honest, which is essential, because most ppl like me have no idea what’s wrong and what’s happening w their car.
Now that my car is out of warranty, I’ve been looking for a repair shop I can trust for repairs (they are also launching a body shop too, but hopefully I won’t need that…). I think I’ve found a home. Thanks guys… hope I don’t see you for a while, but I’ll definitely be back, at least for routine maintenance (hopefully not much else).

There has been too few reviews for such a gem in mostly residential Brookline Village. For that and other reasons, I am compelled to write a new one now.
They don’t take appointments abut work on a first come, first served basis. That is actually a good thing for me because it is located so close to my home that I can show up even before it opens at 8 AM if I suddenly remember my car needs service work. So I brought my Toyota Avalon to this shop and was met by the congenial manager, Niso. I told him about several things I wanted done on my vehicle and I promptly got a cost estimate and then I left for work. Just before closing I got a phone call that my vehicle is ready. It’s all very professional and efficient, It felt just like I was at one of those big name dealerships. BUT, THE PRICE. The charges for the services at Brookline Foreign Motors is so much more affordable.
Niso the manager tells me that they can do just about any repair you need for your vehicle, so I highly recommend giving this business a try.

While dealing with an incredibly stressful and drawn out insurance claim, Brookline Foreign Motors was the ONLY company, who put my mind at ease. Nisso and Fredrick represent the definition of customer service. Boasting top notch respect and care, my car was returned far better than ever anticipated. They even buffed out some scratches without being asked! Supremely efficient and thorough, I will never bring my vehicle anywhere else. Highly, highly recommended.

Fredrick and his team want you to be happy and want your repeat business. They did a great job and I would go back to them again. He did a great job repairing some rust and bumps/​scrapes on the door and bumper of my old but low mileage, well running VW. Consider using them next time you need some work done!

Customer service is a must for these guys. They really go out of their way to make sure you are 150% happy with your car and their service. If you aren’t happy, Fred the manager finds a way to help you out. They treat their customers with the utmost respect, which is a rarity these days.
I have brought my BMW here a few times, and will certainly bring it back in the future (hopefully not too soon :))

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. Honest and used car salesman seems are not words you typically hear together, but thats the only way to describe Frederick. Last year I was about to buy a car from Brookline Foreign Motors — legitimately had given him the money and was signing the paperwork — when one of his mechanics who were checking the car one last time came in and asked to speak to him. I wasn’t part of this conversation, but apparently he had just found a serious problem deep within the engine that probably wouldn’t have started to become an issue for me for a few months. Frederick could have taken my money, but he came back in, told me exactly what the mechanic had said and told me he couldn’t sell me the car until he had everything fixed beforehand. Unbelievable. But awesome.

Just bought a used car from Brookline Foreign Motors and it was a great experience. No hassle experience, Frederick was straight-​forward, honest, professional, and went out of his way to make me happy. The car is in great shape, checked out fully with my mechanic, and was offered at a very fair price. Since Frederick has a full-​service shop, his cars come with a service and a engine/​drivetrain warranty that other dealers simply can’t match. Won’t hesitate to go to him again the next time I am in the market for a used car.

I took my 2001 VW jetta here originally because of the convenient location (right next to the Longwood Medical Area) but have returned because of the friendly, knowledgeable service and very competitive pricing. I highly recommend bringing your vehicles here!
