Scott is the man to give you the best beverage you’ve ever had. He’s been studying coffee and tea for over 30 years and it shows in his craftsmanship of his drinks. He gave me a Dragon Well green tea, and thoroughly explained teas in general from growing, to history, to steeping processes. My friends all had cappuccinos which tasted chocolatey even though there was no mocha in it. «That’s a straight coffee from Kenya. That’s what it’s like when you don’t mess with it!» Scott has coffees and teas that vary in quality and price from moderate to ultra high end. If you want an excellent hot beverage, and education, and eclectic, homey ambiance, this is for you. Note: it is a private club. Check their website for details.

What’s their identity anyway? Not eclectic, just no theme. The coffee IS good. Chairs and church pews are hard as rocks. Nice owners. Ok I guess.

Private but available for you to join, Notable Blends brews an ultimate experience. Scott Davis can edify about the coffee and tea that he blends with the depth of decades of gourmet coffee design. I like the Davis latte blend creation in particular. He likes to combine your personal music tastes with his coffee bean notes to create personalized blends by the pound. Special events in his Blending Room space in Chestnut Street Crossing are intimate with comfy seating and perhaps an axe for those who know how to pick respectfully. Members can visit during the limited hours the cozy refuge is open or book it for a private get together. The teas and coffees are comparable with those of crème de la crème coffeehouses but without the bustle.
