I stumbled upon these quaint quarters when it first opened and I have seen the space blossom like an adolescent child coming of age. The space is located within the shell of an old mill where exposed brick and wood take you back to the good olé days when people enjoyed a hard days work like a freshly poured beer. Tales of business owners and entrepreneurs long ago still echo through the halls providing inspiration to those who seek self discovery and true meaning in their own personal and professional lives. The ample amenities and access to small business resources comfort you like a warm blanket of love sheltering you from the cold breeze of uncertainty and stress that blows upon those taking a risk to pursue their dreams, no breeze shall pass through these walls, you and your small business are safe and warm here. PS — the water fountain doesn’t have a lot of pressure so you’ll have to tilt your water bottle at a sharp angle to fill which can make it difficult to completely fill taller water bottles with narrow mouth openings. I would suggest using a bottle with a wider opening like the Nalgene bottles, it doesn’t have to be Nalgene specifically but those are pretty solid bottles so great to have one handy if you’re a regular water drinker. Stay hydrated!

I’ve recently started renting a dedicated desk here at Refinery and I absolutely love it. Trevor is more than accommodating and the rest of the tenants are a constant fount of information about every business venture imaginable. It is a great environment for getting work done as well as networking to take my business to the next level. There is a perfect balance of having places to work and meet privately as well as procrastinate with a little social activity when needed. Plus free coffee, beer, and ping pong! Done.
