I have been going here to dry clean my family’s clothes for years. When I first moved to the area, I brought an old winter coat covered in stains that my old dry cleaners couldn’t remove. I brought it here, and my cream colored coat came back looking like new! Over the years, i have trusted them with work clothes, fancy dresses and a wedding dress. I recently moved, but still go here even though it’s farther from my house. Would recommend this place to anyone!

The people who work here(owners?) are very friendly and attempt to make jokes and small talk with you, which I am not against, except when I am in a rush. However, the things that bother me most are: crisscross sleeves(male shirts), longer than my usual wait time as their default(3 days including drop off day), cost is a little higher. Business hours are SO not conducive to my schedule as it took me 4 weeks to pickup my last set of clothes. The things I think they do well are: ONE line crease in my dress shirts!!! Must use something less harsh(in the way of chemicals) since I am quiet pleased the way my clothes are barely fragrant. Overall they are not a bad shop, but one I am now moving away from them to try another cleaners down the street.

We started going to Total Cleaners earlier this year(2012). On one occasion, my wife took in a white winter jacket that was very special to her. It had several stains created by magic markers, and we were afraid the stains could not be removed totally. But we were totally wrong: the jacket came back«perfect.» My wife was so pleased!(«Elated» was the word.) We’ve had two alterations done here and my wife, again, was very pleased. We live about 2 miles away, so it is very convenient for us. We would highly recommend Total Cleaners.

I have been patronizing Total Cleaners for years and they are the only place I will trust with my clothing. The service here is A+. If you need something quick, they can do that for you. It’s a mom and pop business and that’s why I’m a customer. They honestly want to give the best service to their customers. The owner even pressed my graduation gown for free. They didn’t have to that, but they did. And that means a lot to me because it shows they take time to care about their customers. Sure, Total Cleaners may not be as cheap as those«$ 2.99» places, but I’m more concerned with quality instead of a discount cleaner. You do pay for what you get.

I went to this dry cleaners back in February. This place is quick and near the Metra IL59 station. I normally don’t do dry cleaning, but my husband was working long hours and I take care of my very curious one year old. Well long story short, I dropped my husband’s slacks, work shirts, and some ties off there for cleaning. I did on a Friday and they told me that they could have it back on Monday. Since it was causal Friday, I told them I need it before Monday. They said no problem and pointed to the sign saying«On site dry cleaning». Since I don’t do dry cleaning I can’t compare prices. I did ask for a price sheet and they told me they didn’t have one. I haven’t been back since, but if I am in a pinch I wouldn’t hesitate to drop them off again. They are getting 5 stars for the fact they were fast and did a good job. I mean hey they had it ready in less than 8 hours!
